I've got VAS... and I'm out of control.

If I were you I'd enjoy what you have for a while cause I personally know of a few things coming that will be mind boggling.

And I promise, it's not the versa.

Hello! I am a first time poster that has been lurking in the Grasshopper and Versa threads.

My version of VAS isn't so much wanting to grow my collection of vapes, it's more based on finding better and healthier vapes. In not very much time at all, I seemingly am in some sort of upgrade loop that I would like to escape from.

Meaning? I would love to get what I ultimately want in a vape, without having to buy all of these intermediary vapes!

For instance, the two vapes I am using right now are the Pax and the Plenty. Not realizing the Pax was combustion when I purchased it, I got pretty excited with the Grasshopper and am willing to roll the dice with that.

As for the Plenty, I like it, but I don't want plastic in the air path. That being said, I recently came across the Versa discussion here and it seems almost perfect.

My problem is reading your post about mind boggling things coming down the pipe that seemingly are going to be better than the Versa. I was hoping you could give some advice on that so that I can escape my infinite upgrade loop with my funds less depleted.

Thank you!

Was without my daily driver 1st time in over a year when it died last week:doh:, and ever since, I've I've been updating FC, USPS, FEDEX, & Email nonstop waiting on updates for new orders for all of these:

>Versa Infinity Beta Test Unit:drool:

>VXL Cloud EVO:drool:

>Ascent:drool:

>Epic-Nano:drool:

>Herbalizer:drool:

Is this VAS curable or ??
I don't plan to go without EVER again..... but the waiting, oh the waiting!:bang:

:peace:
Once you get that EVO at least your home unit will be cured.

I meant to say conduction, not combustion. I'd rather use a convection style vape vs a conduction.

Ah... so then once again, have you looked at the Arizer Solo (portable) or the EpicVape E-Nano (plug in desktop) yet?

Turning my VAS and GAS into full fledge GEAS (GE=guitar equipment), switching it up for a bit, I have more then enough glass and vapes to keep it fresh every day, I think if you have a good combo of vapes and glass, you can come to a plateau....maybe....

Dabs are vapor too!
@fonzerelli - I don't think you can "escape", bu you can mitigate the issues caused. Many hobbies are like this. A person gets interested in something, finds a forum on it, and becomes exposed to a huge range of available gear. Double edged sword, the interwebs. On the one hand we have a tremendous wealth of knowledge available, and multiple (often highly discounted) sources available, but the info can be overwhelming, and the costs can get out of hand :o
Just my opinion, but you won't know what you like till you try it. Sometimes you can learn by a quick test, like if a friend has one, but often you won't really know a piece of gear till you live with it for a while. Can't be helped. You can get a lot of great insights from a forum, but you're unique after all, and what works for the majority, may not work for you. You can always sell on the secondary market, or other wise pass along
what didn't work for you, and recoup some costs, but think of it this way - you're buying knowledge!

From my perspective I haven't even really purchased many vapes, I've only gathered about 10 within 4 years. I said I would never get another desktop vape that wasn't an Underdog, of course I knew that to be untrue, but I didn't think it would be so soon. Hopefully this will prevent me from buying a new one within the next 6 months.

LOL!!
I have 3 out of your five and my VAS has been cured! (for now...)

Unfortunately GAS seems to have taken over and going from the Pinnacle WT to owning a Swagger LE turbine, Chinese Bubbler and no one from Belgium...And i still want a Mobius...

What to do...LOL!

We all need to just take a step back and get some will power I think. If your having troubles with purchases just look over all your vapes again, I find I have a good enough collection to be satisfied. The glass I do have isn't name brand or anything steller, but I kept it to a different perc in each so i have most options available. I'm trying to curb my VAS and GAS and it's working nicely, I've just been focusing more energy on other hobbies and accepting that I have vapes and glass and that's good enough. And say somehow all my vapes and glass explode and I'm left with nothing, I think I'm ok with smokin a joint at that point. :2c::2c:

Luckily, I don't really suffer from VAS right now as my wife and I are going to be buying a house soon and will probably have a mini reveen on the way shortly after if everything goes to plan.

I LOVE my Pinnacle Pro as a portable and same with my EQ for a desktop unit. I do have a slight inkling to get a log at some point, but I dont need it. Im completely satisfied until one of them stops functioning. Same with glass, for vape bonging, i dont think I could do much better than my Matrix Ion.
