Itchy hives when vaping?

Hi as the title said, I have been using the Dani Fusion 2 for nearly a month and been getting itchy hives/rash? on my legs and thighs, this never happen before with smoking joints or bongs, I thought I was going through my usual itchy skin phase (a few days - a week) of the month (related to menstrual/hormones) and it was particularly bad this month but it's been going on for a while longer. They usually pop up after I wake up for a bit even before vaping then slowly expand? from small dots to large patches then they fix themselves during the day, as long as I don't scratch, my skin goes back to normal. When I vape in the evening - midnight then usually it doesn't appear, occasionally a few small dots only.

So this morning I woke up and they slowly pop up again, so I just said f it and smoke a bowl out of my bong with the same strain Biscotti and it actually helped calm the hives, all the strains I have been vaping recently I already smoked them before, from the same dealers. I do take meds for autoimmune disorder + thyroid but this has never occurred when smoking the past few years. Husband has his gums feel a bit weird he said - yesterday he smoke from a bong and didn't feel that. Does this mean vaping is not for me? Because I'm devastated if that's the case, I really enjoy the vaping experience because of my health issue and odor/smoke control.

Also before getting my own vape, about a year ago I tried my friend's dynavap with both IH & torch but I didn't get any hives. Was still taking the same/stronger meds.

When you combust a consequent part of the cloud is vapor, not cloud. Although it is more important when smoking a J than a bowl, the cherry acts like a heater that vaporize the material that is not already burned.

So what you get when vaping you get it when smoking (plus a few other nasty stuff).

I'm not familiar with the vape, is the Dani Fusion 2 stem fully lined ?

Yes, everything is fine with the vape, I like it a lot actually, aside from the itchiness I have nothing to complain about so now I'm just gonna see for a few more days is there any improvement or worse

I see the Fusion 2 has a Titanium oven. Some folks are allergic to titanium, but I'm not sure how that manifests. It's odd that it's disconnected in time but bodies are funny things.

Vaping delivers a much higher percentage of terpenes than smoking (terpenes break down easily when exposed to heat) and you are likely allergic to some of them. If you can figure out which terpenes you can buy strains to avoid them. You might just adapt to it after more exposure.

It sounds like it may be an allergy of some sort, and if it is, more exposure may lead to increased symptom severity, instead of a built up resistance. That's why it is usually advised to avoid foods that one is allergic to, rather than to continue to consume them in the hopes that the allergy goes away.

Does skin contact with Cannabis also cause hives (don't go test this on your own, if you don't know already).

Hi an update:
I don't think vaping caused it, but enhanced the way my body react to my meds. Before this, nothing ever happen before, I used to take higher dose meds compare to now of only 1/4. The weed helps with creating an appetite to eat.

Took a t-break and hives still pop up after I woke up every morning, sometimes even in the evening. Only smoked bongs and joints and it's still there. So I stopped all my meds and noticed a slight change but not completely like 1 day it's less then the next day it's more intense/greater in quantity. So I took an antihistamine and it's gone, but we will see if it's gone for good or whatever.

I don't know if it's food because I have never had such intense reaction to anything, I'm picky and have a sensitive digestion so I'm not food adventurous, I have a 'rotation' list of food I like/can eat without stomach problem so I was really confused. I have never had problem with touching buds either, even accidentally snorted some into my nose lol and nothing, no reaction ever, weed I smoked back then was shittier too.

I tried, cross matching and stuff but if that was the case then I won't be able to get stuff since I don't live in legal places but I have smoked joints/bongs/dabs for years without any issue so if vaping was the culprit then it's just a shame cuz I enjoy vaping way more.

I found I started to get rashes on my legs when I moved over to vaping herb. Since quitting these have now started to clear up.
