Is there a truly wireless ball vape that has a rechargeable battery

I've been researching ball vapes for a while now. Definitely want to get one. My only dilemma is the wireless ones aren't battery powered and I don't really want a desktop setup. Basically what I am looking for is the heater and electronics are all built in with the head. Not even sure a product like this exists yet. If my description sounds confusing I can draw out what I'm meaning

The Angus Enhanced uses a halogen bulb to heat a thermal mass of ruby balls. Not sure if that is what you are looking for or not.

No, I know what that device is and not one I'm interested in. I know my description sucks so here is probably an even crappier crude drawing explaining it. The plugs in via USB type c is how it would charge. It would have a built in battery.

This does not exist currently, you're still looking at two separate pieces of hardware, for the heating element, and then the power source... Plus a bowl of course and a pathway, so four parts at least I think

If you can build it you'll find the shortcomings quick enough, but I think the do-it-yourself part of our community always leads the way.

I would not think a battery ball vape like that would have much of an advantage of portability, simply because you'll still want a glass piece, etc. So for at home use there is really not a disadvantage to a nice base station.

I have seen a lot of clever small, portable PID controllers, but they are not built into the handle like that. I hope you invent something cool. Good luck!

Thanks. I always try to think of the movie field of dreams if you build it they will come. I do agree with what you're saying it's not really about portability as much as it's about I just really dislike cords.

I think you will find that's basically exactly what a wireless ball vape is like. Not portable, but no cords. Obviously trying one is expensive if you don't have a local friend with one, but I suspect it will check your boxes.

I saw someone using one just like this on Instagram, no idea what it was called though.

Main issue is you’re going to be constantly fighting battery issues unless it just lives on the charger, as dry herb vaping is an absolute energy hog, even more so with a high mass ball heater design.

Cannabis Hardware built a PID that runs on a drill battery. I have the DeWalt version. It still has a cord but the power unit is wireless! 👍🏻

The NEO was kind of close to what you’re looking for. I always wanted to add one to my kit, unfortunately they are discontinued.

Love my neo. It's definitely a great device, but performs less like a ball vape than anything that I own. Very gentle heater that requires a good technique. Pays off with flavor in spades.

I’ve had this same exact thought. In my head, it fast charges wirelessly on a dock while heating and the battery has enough capacity to keep the heater at your desired precise temp for a few hits before returning to the dock.

Ive always thought you can just get one of those battery packs and use those to power it. For a slimmer setup only one I've seen was powered by a Dewalt battery.

G43 with sled
True, you can run most vapes powered with a VVPS off of a mod, or with a USB power supply.

I have done this with various logs, my Zenith, Atlas, Halo, and HLT. I found it more trouble than it was worth ultimately and I just plugged in to the wall. The issue is the cord to the mod or battery pack, to be honest.

Zenith actually has the connector so you can run it off power from a mod box, tethered with a cord but still viable and way better than a G43 in my experience and likely less annoying than using a battery sled

I’ve been working on such a new portable vaporizer project for about a year now, countless prototypes, lots of energy, and a bit of obsession have gone into this! The vape is designed for micro to small sessions (0.05–0.2 g), super modular, and focused on performance and flavor.

I’m excited to finally open a thread and discuss the project in detail, maybe even show some behind the scenes shots. Stay tuned!

You should check out @highvaper project. It's basically a DIY pid made with a raspberry pi. In it's original form it's an all glass double flow type design but you could easily wrap a coil around a different head, or make a ball head from lab supplies. It does however run off 4 18650s (or a desktop psu like an led driver or similar) so it wouldn't be quite as compact as your drawing. I believe he has kits available if you fancy trying to make it! It's a fantastic little device that deserves some love!
