The FC forum is generally a warm and welcoming community. I found it when I was ill and bedridden. Reading posts of all sorts filled my days and helped me feel less isolated. Please never feel shy or reluctant about asking a question. I have answered the same questions dozens of times and will continue to do so. It only takes a few moments and I like to be able to help the newbies. Becoming oriented to the forum, the various threads and their organization can take a while and the various functions are not always apparent. Even with the search function, it can be difficult to find what you're looking for when you don't know what you don't know.

I have no cannabis community apart from myself and the gangsters I buy from. For gangsters they run a very professional delivery service and are very cool. My only other connection is through FC. It has changed here over time. A lot of cool posters have gone to VA or VLF. There seem to be a lot of users that refuse to read and want answers provided. I can't stand this and simply won't respond. I don't understand why anyone helps them to be honest. Such members are a lot more generous than me.

@Madri-Gal, I'm so sorry for what you've been through with your son, how terrifying and distressing to have suffered this abuse from someone that you should be able to trust.
I wish you well on your journey towards health healing and wholeness, on this forum you're always kind generous and patient, you deserve the same in return from other people.

IMO this site lost a lot of what made it special when momofthegoons left/was forced to leave and vtac all but abandoned this place. again, just my opinion, but momofthegoons was what really made this site feel alive and growing. Her absence has caused a slow decline here for a long time now. Not to mention her replacement hasn't even posted in a year and I think he only posted like 4 or 5 times ever since he was named "staff..." So... we get what we get I guess.

Also... new and exciting vape ideas are fewer and farther between than just a couple years ago. (Although maybe that's just me being jaded.) Hard to keep the vehicle rolling when the tires have been stripped and it is sitting on mortar blocks. Just waiting for Vtac to stop paying and nobody can get in contact with him... then that's that.

I don't post as often anymore, but I still come and peruse the vapor lounge or the various sub-forums not pertaining to any vape model per-say.

Lotta fun people here I enjoy reading, and would miss many of your thoughts when gone.

In any case... I'll be here liking some of your posts and saying the occasional thought... until we're done.

I don't know what it was like before, other than reading older postings in threads. I'm happy I found Momofthegoons at Vapor Asylum, so I still get her presence daily. The best I can do here is try to be a good community member, and give back what I get from FC.

Been around here for around 5 years now. What sets this site apart is the consistent, enforced civility and the fact that the overwhelming majority here embraces it.

IMO....When there is someone who comes close or actually crosses that civility line they stand out. All you need is a few of those troll or uncivil types and it "feels" like the site may be turning because it's so rare here. Those uncivil types either adopt a level of niceness, don't comment as much, get silenced or are shown the door.

I don't feel that the site has changed all that much and I'm grateful for it. The industry is definitely changing from the underground culture WE USED TO BE to something more "business like".

I could be way off but there seems to be a lot more VAS/consumerism here than I remember years back. I'm seeing members new to vaping with a whole catalog of vapes after their first year here. And there's nothing inherently wrong with that but it kinda begs the question are you truly satisfied with this vapor?

Maybe it's cause there's constantly a new fleet of vaporizers on the horizon now, or maybe these new vapes are so easy to use there's just nothing to talk about? Back in the day (a few years ago lol) vaporizers had their own quirky mannerisms which promoted discussion. Some of the newer ones just aren't that finicky, I guess our secret techniques just don't need to be discussed as much anymore. When all you had was a MFLB :mflb: this site was a revelation. Now with my enails, there's just not as much technique involved.

Legalization has certainly affected some of the new members funneling in, but there are a lot of new members who I really enjoy seeing posts from, many who fit in like they've been here the whole time.

This is by far the best forum I've ever been a part of, and I'm grateful for all the great friends I've made along the way! Here's to many more :cheers:

While it's nice to have a place to learn and communicate about the dos and don'ts regarding my vapes, I check out this forum regularly precisely for threads like this one. I'm 58 and live in an illegal state. As ridiculous as it may seem to many here, I have to clandestinely hook up with my supplier who's half my age. He's my only face-to-face contact with the mj community, other than a couple of friends with whom I initiated my mj usage back as a teenager. I see them maybe twice a year. FC allows me to interact with a lot of apparently cool people who share something meaningful in common with me. This outweighs by far the occasional annoying uncool member.

I sometimes have issue with the name like recommending someone to FC for vape info... still cringe inside when mentioning Fuck to just anyone ETC... maybe a more family friendly name but really using Fuck really drives the point home... I post around the web but FC is still a real type place online mostly people being Real and not just robot drone overs being subliminally directed by mainstream values and lies

Very nice your post!

FC is cool, however don’t expect to get advice from it!
We all have our own perceptions of what vaporizering is or isn’t!

Some say this vaporizer is the cats meow based on their perception?
FC will be relative to the changing attitude towards CANNABIS enjoyment!
