Using your method (cost/day); If I bought a gram for $10 and smoked it for a month, it would cost me 0.3333 cents/day. Buying a gram for $20 = 0.6667 cents/day. Therefore, using time as a variable does not change the value of pot, it just shows you how much money you are burning by day. Just because your pot lasts you longer than someone else's does, does that mean yours is worth more in value? Because you vaporize and use less pot, does the value of your pot increase?
At $8-10/gram for AAA in Canada,
I don't need a brick & mortar store with glass cases to make things seem more glamorous as I overpay.
A place that stands behind their products? When my dealer has OG, Purple, or Rockstar Kush everyday, do I need to question him?
It'd be nice, but I don't need 20 different strains to compare. My guy usually has 3 very nice strains.
Buying edibles? I'd rather make it with my ABV.
Comping free buds? That's cool, but if I was paying $20/gram, I wouldn't feel as if they were "free". Even with the free buds you got, my bud was still cheaper.
The one thing I would like access to, concentrated ear wax (budder) as I do not know how to make it.
pretty good summation of larry's argument, and it would seem that your statement also supports my argument that the standard is changing, and that the free market is now taking hold in all of its glory.
BTW, earwax isn't difficult to make, it's other name is BHO or butane honey oil, as it is obtained from a butane extraction.
as is the case with nearly all concentrates, the stuff the stores sell as a concentrate is from the worst of the worst bud, because when you can sell crap bud for $3 a gram you're still making more than if you sold a concentrate.
if you're going to make BHO, use high quality butane (do some research) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I8spk80yFRo&has_verified=1
