Great Scott!
I'm thinking there is no difference between BHO/QWISO and RSO. It is just an extraction. I can make BHO or QWISO, but don't have a vac setup to purge. Is there any actual danger in ingesting this oil vs vaping it? I'm thinking as far as trace levels of either solvent goes is it worse than vaping?
I've got ankylosing spondylitis and want to see if this "magic cure all" can do anything for me. At the worst case I figure it is still an extract of an anti-inflammatory drug, cannabis. I just don't know if eating trace amounts of solvent is more dangerous than vaping it. Obviously I'd like to think there is 0% solvent left, but that is physically impossible, at least without a proper lab setting.
Anyone ever use RSO for anything at all? I have some questions. Mainly I DON'T want to feel a high from this if it can be avoided. I need realistic expectations. I don't generally do edibles. Just not for me, but this is for health reasons. I'd like to feel no effects from the oil, but if its unavoidable I want to do my best to start SUPER low.
Anyone who has used any kind of concentrate for any arthritis or autoimmune disease similar to AS please let me know what advice/info you have if any. I'm young still, I want to try to get on top of this lifelong disease and hopefully extend my time as a fully functional version of myself. I can already see things getting bad.
For some reason I'd feel a lot better if my state had dispensaries and I could buy someone else's "professionally" made RSO. I have my med card, which offers me nowhere to legally buy cannabis, but I can't get in trouble for possessing up to 10 ounces. I can't afford to make much at once, but if works at all I will make some when I can. I guess starting small for a trial wouldn't be a bad idea either.
