Good morning folks , how you doing?
First attempt to open and properly fix the iolite failed.
I wasn't able to realise what was going wrong with its system, everything seemed to be okay or at least similar as all those photos where it shows its inside. Anyway, I still tried to do the lighter-igniter work. First I removed the igniter (therefore the whole system) in order to do the exchange. Took me a min to decide which wire to use (
) 2 wires, ended up choosing the purple one -right,shorter-
Tried to make it fit in that blue thing with red ..tape? That I sadly broke in a foolish way. Anyway, replaced it like I could and ended up with a few mistakes:
1)The gas switch, can't make it fit properly (easiliy goes from 1 to 0, stuck in the middle hardly moves.)
2)Not sure bout the correct set of my "purple"(black) of the wire. I connected it to the burner section properly I guess, but still lacks of the red tape and not so sure about the function of the blue round thing.. forgive me for my use of language..poor but understandable I hope.)
3) THAT WHITE SHAPE THAT " HOLDS" THE PARTS, CAN'T MAKE IT FIT PROPERLY.. WHATS ITS FUNCTION?
PHOTOS:
HOW IT LOOKED WHEN I FIRST OPENED IT.. everything seemd decent..
HOW I GAVE UP AND LEFT IT LIKE.. the white 2nd holder position, the wire with the electrode AND the gas switch, doesn't move right.
thanks a lot, not surrendered yet.. later
