Well, from all the bowls I ordered, I've struck out completely with injectors - nothing really fits well.

The Convector XL works as an injector bowl "mostly", but the heater needs a hand to balance cause only the heater's tip goes in.

The Argo tubes are only OK. They don't fit perfectly.

So essentially I'm either using a Dynavap tip or the included metal bowl.

I’ve been using the glass stem since I replaced that janky basket screen that looks like it was formed over a pencil eraser with an E-Nano basket. For injector use I use a 14 mm bowl from Vgoodiez.

Does the VGoodiez 14mm bowl allow for the "heater nozzle" to go down into it? If so, could you give a link?

Yeah I just rechecked the Hornet with that bowl. The injector end matches up with the 14mm. opening but doesn’t really insert. It did get me high enough that I thought it fit. Sorry about that.

No worries. I actually emailed VGoodiez asking about any bowls they sold that fit. No joy.

The only piece missing from this kit is a really good, all glass (or glass lined), injector bowl. Perhaps the Hornet will catch on enough for some corporation to add one.

At first it was frustrating using the glass stem the Hornet comes with. The screen kept coming out, blah, blah, blah. So I got the screen back in the best I could, I only put weed in using the straw method. When I do my last vape, I just blow out the remains. I have vaped at least 1/2 oz since without any problems.
I really like the flavor using this. Hoping the screen stays in even longer.

Hey everyone…becoming familiar with the hornet…can confirm that 14mm injector bowls from oldhead (freight train) do work…not to the same performance as the diffuser side, but it will get you high…the diffuser side is simply…amazing…anyway I’m sure they will be developing the applicable injector options shortly..

I don't have much experience with injectors besides my zx. Can you share how you expect a glass injector bowl with the hornet to work better or different than the glass diffuser bowl?

..with the oldhead injector bowls there is a greater distance between your weed and the heater..this will impact performance..you can compensate by taking longer draws and raising the temperatures. These issues can be alleviated with injector bowls designed for use with the hornet.

If it's done right, the bore of the all-glass, quartz or zirconia injectior bowl's airpath should be the same as that of the Hornet's airpath. It would be configured so that the bowl held about the same amount as their metal bowl and cradled the heater "appropriately distant" so as to strike a good terpene/stoney balance.

What would be the best injector bowl to use with the hornet?

Yeah it's bricked all my other ball vapes for a month now. I just love the small doses and was almost exclusively using a pinch hitter, makes no sense using those big things now that I got this now.

OK, I feel like the E-Nano Basket Screens should be standard equipment for the glass WPA that comes with the IO Hornet kit. It makes the glass tube "bowl" enjoyable rather than a fiddly chore. In fact, it makes the experience staggeringly configurable. Load WAAAAAAY more herb than some of the other "big boy" ball vape configurations, turn the temp down, and treat it like a joint you can hit like a dozen times.

Did you get one of the screenformer tools for making and inserting the screens? Screenformer . If not please let me know some of the early orders got out before we had these fully developed

I did get one of the screenformer tools for making the screens. I used it twice and decided that it's cool, but not for my fingers.

The pre-formed cup that is the E-Nano Basket is pure voodoo. So much nicer.

The ever so slightly larger size of the stainless Dynavap M+ tip on their Vong is also just the most enjoyable experience, as are both the other bowl-systems.
