I already tried sapphire beads and they cracked- i think the drilling weakens them - I was using a torch of course but the thermal shock for the beads happens when you start inhaling. It probably doesn't matter if they crack but customer is always right

I want a ZPRO 😍🔥
For information I love my SX.
So cool and efficient!
Initially I fill the bowl for a big load to run my tests (and it works just fine too), but now I put a few crumbs in the bowl, and that's where it shines and outshines the competition.
I will make significant savings in my weed consumption!
I need a ZX now and ZPRO when it becomes available!

You need a pid with rs845 communication 😁

Also fwiw my experience with the Zirconia beads has been great, as was stated I dropped my Temps 100 deg from the ruby I was using and I find the flavor much better

I also put them on my home made Dani ball vape, they seem to dump the heat really quickly when you pull air across them but they recharge that heat very quickly as well, I assume that's just the nature of ceramics as I'm no scientist I can't say for sure what the reason they work so well is

I mean hardness and ease of machining can't be the only reason you made the head from this material

Definitely not due to ease of machining! 😁Zirconia is not far from being the most expensive material in the world to machine as they have to use diamond tools because the material is extremely hard and dense. It was chosen for its purity and durability.

As I mentioned above I could see flavors potentially improving from a more gradual evaporation due to slower heat transfer. Sort of why quartz dabs are still so popular even though there’s lots of materials available that evaporate quicker. I like a quick and snappy, robust extraction; it’s definitely a balancing act for sure. But yeah, the reduction in set temperature isn't really vaporizing anything at a lower temperature, it's just due to differences in the material properties. Nothing wrong at all if you dig it though!!

Can you share the potential timeline you expect the zpro being released?

Maybe next year?
Right now I’m more focused on making the ZX popular and getting them out there for people to enjoy.
TBH I'm not in a huge rush for it to be copied, so it's just kind of simmering on the stove for now.

Thank you for posting that bro, that's exactly the whole point of these vapes so I'm super stoked that it's working out for you exactly how I designed it to be. I use way less herb than I did with my 18mm injector designs and I've literally never felt like I was missing out on anything.

Just a few crumbs in the bowl, combined with the right amount of surface area, turbulence, and airflow, and you get magic!

Z pro vs z8 would be the bowl?

Also, any tips on tightening the coil?

Z Pro is essentially just InVerzion2.
So basically, the next generation to come after the ruby ball vape.

For tightening the coil I'd remove the housing, then using a wrench or pliers covered in a cloth to halt any marring, you can grab on to the coil and twist it clockwise to bring in the diameter. Then re-install the housing and you're good - you can use Bar Keepers Friend to scrub off any marks the coil leaves while removing or installing the housing.

If any of that seems intimidating you can always send it to me and i'll set it up and clean it up proper, as well as bench test it to make sure everything is solid. Everything should stay nice and snug with the newer parts since the OD is slightly reinforced now from that initial batch.

As I'm checking the page twice a day to be sure not to miss next batch of ZX, I could at least ask something I've been wondering, how long does it take to heat the whole device to be ready to fire the rocket? I'm know it depends on the power output of the coil, but I suppose that all that mass of zircon takes some.time to reach operational temp once the coil itself has reached the defined temp. So how do you do, let it pre heat for a long time (10s/10min?) or do you wait, drooling next to it with a terpometer to check the bottom or top temp?

My SX is heated in probably 2 minutes, running at 520f. It heats up between hits to basically be nonstop for my intake.

I haven’t timed it, but I feel like my Z8 is ready to go in 5 mins or less. Faster than my FlowerPots for sure.

It can’t match the heat-up times of a portable, but portables have a lot less mass to heat. I think it’s a reasonable time for a desktop though, and once it’s at temp you can leave it there as long as you need to. :)

Z8 heats up fast, I treat it as soaked after <10mins; more like 15 for the SX; both can be used before the soak is complete, they may need a recharge though.

It's usable in around 3 minutes or so.

By the time I grab a glass of water and grind something fresh it's pretty much ready to rip.

I'll try and give more of a heads up when more ZX's go up for sale. It won't be too long, we're officially in line for production right now.

I'm really all in with these, so here we go! Thanks for betting on me

Thanks again for your patience, it means a lot :)

Will the Z8 continue to be manufactured, or with the ZX replace it?

cool stuff here btw.

Thank you!

Hard to say right now honestly, the landscape is changing fast, some days I don't even recognize the field.

Depends on how well the ZX goes over, and whether I can maintain demand once the clones arrive.

 that's definitely speedy, faster than some of the newer portables lol!

I leave mine on almost perpetually!

I use the DC stand on a reusable adhesive grip mat. It works really well and I have no concerns of it falling out or tipping over.

That’s nice!
I use my PID to weigh down the DC stand.

I use the CH hanger and post. It works fine for the SX but I think I would prefer the Qaroma-style porcelain stand. I might make one out or a coffee mug some time.

A very kind customer sent me one of those to try out, I didn’t really like it for holding my vapes - but I do use it as a Q tip holder for my dabs lol.

I’m interested in better options though…I have some ideas, so maybe I’ll get around to making a good one.

Would like to see those! ;)

There's zirconia vapes. Certainly not clones. No 14 mm injectors with just the right air resistance. And just the right geometry. They're 18mm or 22mm. Crazy screen surface area and certainly not the way to go if you want to save money.

14mm on the other hand can handle loads smaller than a Dynavap bowl with insane vapor quality

Frankly, it seems as though even Reddit mfs will buy into the 14mm zevolution if they're readily available to grab. I look forward to seeing where this brand ends up within our community. I mean, imo, you could compete with new vape, etc. if the demand can be met.

Haha yeah it's whatever, I just have to accept that this is the reality of being the innovator.
I have a lot more innovations to show, and they will probably all be "extremely inspirational" so I just have to get used to it.

We all know the real reason why nobody else did it first
Have to admit going so far as to copy my website down to the same exact template is a bit excessive, but it's out of my control lol.

We're going straight to the top. No worries meeting the demand, it's being prepared for.
Thanks to you all for spreading the good word while we attempt to bloom, that helps me out more than anything.
