haha exactly what I have bin wondering, I recieved my package that had my PD items and the bottom piece of the clear dome flame filter lol. I had emailed CD 2 weeks ago and he said he may have forgotten to put the top piece in and that he is on vacation right now. Im still hoping to test this shiiet out lol.

I'm still really excited to try it out even though its bin about a month and a half since i shoulda recieved it lol. I hope he still wants me to be a beta tester lol. Yes, he did email me but my situation was unique from all the other testers IMO. I had purchased a bubbler stem for my PD, before any of the flame filter info was even released. CD just waited to send it at the same time as my beta unit, so he could save on shipping. For this reason, and this reason only i was likely pushed to the front of the beta list, and was sent an email with priority tracking before you fella's.
It is a free beta unit. Don't worry too much about time frame. Waiting might actually be helpful, as i think CD is still tweaking the design, and this might get you a more updated style. Be patient. Happy vaping.

haha trust im patient man. I understand, he emailed me a few weeks back about being quite busy and all. I just wanted to make sure cuuz im in the same situation. I purchased 2 pieces for my PD and he waited a few days to send it out cuuz he was going to put the Beta in the package to save on shipping. However He only put the bottom piece that goes into the gong joint but no top piece which is pretty much the flame filter. He had told me he may have accidently placed it in another package lol meaning someone probly got a flame filter without the bottom gong joint piece. Cd also told me that he still plans on sending em out in a few weeks after a few tweaks to the design.
Soo I was hoping that maaybe since he's sending out yours, maaybe I could email him and see what the deal is with mine as well. Since its bin about almost 2 months haha. No problem. I am very excited for mine too. The filter and the PD bubbler will get a lot of use over the 4th of July weekend I assume, I am taking 4 days off work. 
I have a lot to get done, but never stopped me from vaping before. I'd expect CD to send you the beta in the next couple of weeks.

However I dont let anybody use my bubbler in fear that someone mite blow into the bubbler by accident and water come out the screen side and into my unit. Which btw someone almost did the other night.
Haha soo what I did was, I took one of the regular PD tubes and forced it into a short piece of tubing that I got from 7th floor for my SSV. I then put the tube into my Unobtainium Water Filter(also from 7th floor) Works great and I dont gotta worry bout someone fucking up my unit hahaha and at the same time still giving them the Vapebong experience.
I hope your right bouut the filter coming in a few weeks haha, I hope you have a good loong ass weekend lol be careful who you let use the bubbler with your PD

I actually bought 4 PD's, two cherry, one ash, and one walnut. My oldest, a cherry, has been at my sisters house for over a year. I rarely visit, but her and my brother and law use it there a few times a week id assume. I also have a Pandora kit at the house, but haven't had time to build it yet. So in a way you could say i have 5 PD's.
haha well I already saaid your the maan LOL. I wish that when I on got the list around January I ordered 2 lol. One for my house and one for my backpack, but its all good. I pretty muuch keep it on all the time when im at home. And turn it off before I go to bed. Then first thing in the morning when I wake up I just plug it in and have a shower and breakfast. Get ready for my day then by the time I leave, its already at full temp I jus unplug it for bout 2 mins, go to my car and plug it in again and its still at full temp in bout 5 mins. Sooo fucking handy I love it, but kinda wierd I used my SSV last niiight for the first time in bout 5-6 days and it was was ripping away liike a chaamp. Shiiet it's liike it was calling out to me to use it more often lol. It's still my primary vape, I'm jus enjoying the PD since i waited bout 6 months to get it

So did anyone recieve their beta units yet, what's going on with that? He had 4 units made, and no one got theirs? Honestly how long does it take to ship it? He's making "redesigns," yet the point of a "beta" tester, is to test the products that are already made, not for him to make mods before you even test it, what's the point?

I did get mine today and my PD bubbler stem. I will probably be at work another 13hrs or so, and back early tomorrow so i don't have to go in all weekend. Probably won't give it more then a use or two tonight before bed. Tune in Thursday or Friday for a quick update.

I'm very interested in hearing your review on the bubbler. I was on a "list" in the other CD thread, some time ago. I haven't heard anything in a long time, or seen anyone say much about these, if anyone else has received one yet. I'm curious how you would clear the tip after a hit. I blow my abv out into a bag or a jar when using the standard pd stem, and don't see how this would work unless the tip is removable. Happy vaping!

CD Flame Filter is pretty fun. Feeling a little under the weather with a sore throat, so i have only ripped two bowls thus far. Like most vapes, practice makes perfect, and eventually i am sure i will dial into perfection.
I have been unable to produce vapor with a standard Bic thus far. I wave a torch though, and i just let a little tiny bit of blue flame over the top of the bowl horizontally, and suck. Nice thick vapor. I have tried it out of two different pieces of glass so far, and i preferred it from my piece with a tree perc. It'll take some time to perfect it. The first bowl, i experimented with the torch and ended up with a bit of burnt herb. But by the second, everything was very dark green, and i was able to get some rips almost comparable to the Supreme. Thus far, taste is a step above the Supreme, but not that of the VHW. I am a little sick, and that may be effecting taste. Oh yeah, i stirred it every two hits, i am a strong advocate of stirring and increasing surface area. That being said, i bet you could get away with stirring less.

I am curious if you had the entire flame in the filter with the bic. Just wondering because in the vids CD gets pretty thick hits with what looks like just a bic.IAmKrazy2 said:

I thought I might have to change the original design but the more I use mine the more I love it so it will stay like it is until the beta test will be finisish . I will try to mail the other unit this week . the only thing I ask to my beta tester is to keep using it till you pass the learning curve and post here what you think about it . Also you should be able to get nice thick vapor from a bic , you just have top breath slower in the vap till it get hot and than breath faster to creat more vapor . If you dont want to have to stir it you might put less herb in the bowl too . I hope it help ! I'll be back on the thread with more info soon !
