Then I will hold the power button and down volume button on my android phone, this will take a screen shot. I send that photo to him with DM and discuss the aspects I like. Should turn out perfect for me

Thanks @blankrider and @Deadshort480 I messages him already and got a very thorough and detailed response. I may just wait for a deal because I really don't NEED custom it's more of a want and he quoted it higher than I expected Thanks for the referral though I will probably scoop one of his pieces this month.

I first ordered a few dropdowns from him and then purchased two of his Straight Fab Egg style pieces when he first started making them. I sold the smaller of the two pieces to a young lady who was very interested in one. The function is great and it looks beautiful.

It's really hard to compare piece to piece. There's just too many factors that come into play. I paid $200 for one of his earlier ones, but he has since improved and raised prices.

He quoted mine with 6 holes and some work done for $350 which is fair. Can't wait to place the order. He seems really backed up though

I don't know of anyone making Eggs in that price range. You're usually looking at about $600 minimum.

You did get a crazy deal lol! Mine is quoted at 350 with no drop down and some color with 6 holes. Still a good deal but hopefully he can get pretty creative with it and works it more than I'm imagining. I'll be placing my order the 1st. Kinda want an opal too

As I said, it was one of his first attempts at making a Straight Fab. It did not include a dropdown or dome. He was not 100% happy with it due to some imperfections so the price reflected that. Since then, his Straight Fab work has vastly improved which in turn has lead to a higher price. It looks like Blankrider paid for his during the sale that Cramboro had going for Black Friday and that's why he received the price he got. $350 is still an excellent price considering the last Straight Fab style piece I was quoted from another artist was $950 and would incorporate a very scant amount of color.

If you have time on your hands you can just peruse Instagram and find new and upcoming artists. You can usually snag newer designs on the less expensive side while helping them up their game. Usually, when an artist starts to really develop their game they don't forget those that helped them along the way. It can be an extremely favorful relationship for both sides.

Ha! My wife is starting to take notice of how much I have and has begun making comments. I love the glass that I own and I usually think pretty hard about what I want to add. There were definitely some impulse buys, but I've even grown to love them as a part of my collection. Out of all the pieces I own, I would really only consider selling maybe two of them because they are kind of duplicates, but even still, I'm not actively looking to sell them.

I can't wait for my next piece though. It's going to be pretty epic and I'm so friggin excited.

I rarely ever touch the liquor. I try to keep a balance of heady and scientific. I love seeing the waterworks inside a piece. So, even when I'm looking for something heady I like for areas to be clear.

The only reason I can buy all this stuff is no kids, but that might change sooner than later.
