Welcome trippingoverstuff. It make us proud that you selected Inhalater after a thorough study :-)

Our research in substrates is pretty awsome. The mixes we have found, are in my opinion, in a class of their own.

Would love to discuss subject. What would you say I open a new thread for this: Substrate mixes in the Inhalater XP
I'm interested. The subject is pretty new to me as it is... Old Mother Earth follower as I was. Very interested in being able to vape tobacco in leaf form and kind of been waiting for that option with the 10+ setting.

I know, I know. Might be able to phase that out again but love the option.

ALSO, thanks for all the great videos everyone!

Tobaccos are a touchy subject. It has a lot of negative connotations to the one who have been subjected to anti tobacco messages.

Pharmacor is a technology manufacturer. We do not condone, propose or endorse any type of product other than medical cannabis as proven benefic in vaporised form by a heath care professional.

Generally speaking, tobacco like substrate have lower temperature requirements. Virginia type, blond tobacco; as sold in cigarettes in Canada require a light temperatures: 1-5 on Q3 Inhalater release.

After getting well acquainted with my new xp over the last 2 days, I can safely say it produces excellent vapour.

Very dense clouds and no funny taste after doing a 2 cycle burn in with AVB. In fact, density increased with my 2nd cycle on the same load. After starting a 3rd session in a row on same load, my head couldn't take anymore so decided to dump it out at that point. Very evenly browned AVB.

I had the capsule about 3/4's full with high grade, finely grinded material, and timed each session to be approx. 10min before auto-shiutoff.

I even tried the auto mode on the 3rd session which was interesting as I don't normally go up than high in temp, so that was intense. The AVB was near black, but not burnt at all.

Very happy with mine so far, and looking forward to receiving my 2nd one. After that, I am getting rid of all my other vapes as they may not see any use in future.

The only thing I haven't done yet is get a count of sessions per charge, which I'll do after getting my 2nd unit as I need a charged unit available at all times.

- inquire with your preferred distributor for discounts on 5 packs.

I contacted PV (only place I know of that has them) about a discount on capsules. There reply was to use the FCLOVE10 for the discount Which adds up to be $44.75 plus shipping for 5 capsules.:\ I think we were looking for a better deal than that.

Many thanks for the positive review HerbalHealing :-)

What temperatures have you been using?

3/4 of a capsule would amount to 1/5g approx. Someone has reported a 50% saving on herbs with the Inhalater. This amounted to paying for his investment in 3 weeks!

We are still fiddling with the auto mode, trying to find added value.

The auto mode is a dynamic heating cycle. At the present time, is runs a pre heat for 60 seconds then operates a 5 celsius increase in temperature over the cycle time. Base line temperature is set 222 celsius.

Base line temperature is at where we once thought was optimal for tobacco and then for medical cannabis. Turn out that it is hot for both substrates.

All ideas welcomed

Here is temperature breakdown for Q3

1 125
2 139
3 153
4 167
5 181
6 194
7 208
8 222
9 236
10 250

10 being between 9 and auto mode on Q3 released up to now.

The Other Side Vapes in California also has capsules in stock.

Inhalater, Have you already shipped out the first batch of Q3 XP's? Just wondering if my order from PV will be coming anytime soon.

hiphiphooray,
talking about this one like being the 3rd generation i feel a bit weird cause i know i've got 1 unit + had it replaced 2 times cause it broke so the next generation would be the 4th...i think everyone is talking about 3 because the very first generation were all dead in less than 20 days...so its like the company is admiting we were "beta" testers without even knowing it and that is kind of annoying...
Not all the first gen units died right away; I got a first gen unit and it lasted for 4 months: it only just died about a week ago... The serial number on this unit was 4; so it definitely was in the first batch

Planet Vape has some amazing customer service. Just got this email from them about the new Q3 XP's if anyone is interested:

Currently the Inhalater XPs are ready to ship to us after finishing their final stages of assembly, calibration and testing. The XP(s) you will be receiving is/are the most up to date available. Pharmacor technologies has just notified us that the current available batch have all the newest electronics, however the USB port cut out on the body of the Inhalater XPs are hand cut on these and if you remove the label it will not look cosmetically perfect.

Inhalater is working on a machine formed body with a perfect cosmetic USB port cut out, but they won't be ready for at least another 30 days.

We would like to offer every pre order customer the choice of either:

A: Have your Inhalater XP(s) ship this week with the cosmetically imperfect USB port cut out.

B: Wait an additional 30 days (anticipated) for the machine formed bodies.

What do you guys think? How bad is the "cosmetically imperfect" USB port really? Is this referring to the microUSB charging port or something else?

Inhalater recently stated that, "The USB plug is perfect. On color units decal covers the adaptation of the plastic body." What constitutes as a color unit?

Should we be expecting something to look like this?

Perhaps you would be best focusing on making a vape that actually works?

mod note: Perhaps you could learn not to make back-to-back posts, and also how to be less rude. Two posts merged.

I think they've done that already, and doesn't that go without saying, for basically all companies introducing new equipment to consumers? I'd guess there are far more happy customers than not, just not posting here. Seems like some people's perspective is based just on what they read in this one forum. I wonder if they've owned one, or had any experience with a new electronic item, computer program, or hardware of any type. You always have the option to wait for arefined product, but if you want the benefit of it sooner, then this is how it works in the real world.

I for one welcome such a thread as that will also help us learn about the different ways to use it with different materials. I'm here to learn and facilitate learning about advanced usage, tips & tricks rather than hear whining about not getting theirs yet or how some prefer form over function (usb port). Some may want a showpiece, but I just want a vape that's fit for my purposes and medicates well.

Perhaps we can have a separate thread for haters so those of us who want to keep it positive aren't dragged down into the pessimism....just a suggestion.

Can you elaborate on the USB port? I know its just a cosmetic issue, but I'm just wondering how bad it really is. Inhalater stated color models, and I again don't know what that is referring to. I just want some clear answers before I decide to wait 30days for nothing or buy a flawed product.

According to Planet Vape it only looks bad when the label is removed??? Why would I be removing the label? ...

check out the pic 4 posts above yours. that is what the hole looks like around the USP port. it looks hand cut/filed and kinda rough. i fully understand the concern regarding the USB port. my XPs USP port looks machined professionally. i wouldnt be too happy if my brand new XP had that USB port. i say this because leaving the sticker on it is a non option for me. i would not be able to stand the peeling and i would just take it right off.

That's exactly how mine looks, and I have black so no sticker to cover the edges. Any other colour comes with a sticker so you don't see the port edges as much.

Some may prefer a brand new shiny ford focus, but my scratched up ferrari will out perform it every time. So depends on what you're after.....looks or performance. If you want both, you're gonna have to wait and let product development continue until it gets there. If you want the benefit of a great performing vape, then it's already here. Reliability & longevity generally improves over time in any manufacturing operation (in most cases).

I remember when honda, hyundai and toyota were the cheapest, crappiest cars you could get and that was the common reputation. It's a bit different now isn't it?
When new, PC hard drives used to have a failure rate over 20%, now it's less than 2%.
Name an invention, you'll find a similar pattern.

edit: Just saw the posts above me. Thanks for the explanations.

So basically, if you want a good looking black Inhalater you have to wait ~30 days... ehhh still unsure what to do.

while i agree to a degree, i would say that the less than professional looking units should be sold at a cheaper price. i mean it was perfect before... why the change now?

if i were in the market for an XP right now i would wait until the USB port is cleaned up. i would hate to try to show others how amazing the XP is, but "oh yeah dont pay any attention to the hacked up USB port that looks like chimp cut it". i am confident that INH will indeed get it all tidied up however.

@Inhalater what is the status of the next batch of Inhalaters, with the machine cut ports? Planet Vape said approximately 30 days. Is this correct?

^ Interested as well. Torn between waiting another month without a vape or just sucking it up and taking a janky USB. Maybe I'll get a colored one so the sticker can hide the cosmetics...

Many thanks for the support. We accept creticism. Nerver tire of saying we will get to perfection sooner than later :-)

Honestly USB relocation is not appearant with decal on and we do have a new assembler who does have the touch for finish. Even without the sticker it looks good.

Over the weekend I have been using the white one pictured earlier; #1225. Never gave the port a second tought. Was just happy to have the tool. There are some pretty awesome natural blends one can make. No kidding.

The peeling is not an issue anymore. We have high tack vinyl - won't come off easy I garantee. As for the silver units wich were problematic because of aluminum undercoat; we add some reenforcements to eleminate peeling.

Thanks for the chimp comment; I will pass it on. lol ;-)

Yes new styles are coming up. Will post them end of the week.

Yes new batch coming up very soon.

@Inhalater, thats great news! Very excited to get my first XP. Are there any pictures available of the black models or those without stickers? As long as the new assembler isn't ripping USB ports like in the previous picture, I don't think anyone will really complain.
