Just wondering how much you guys buy when you get more, personally i go by the oz.
In what quantity do you normally acquire your medicine?

Well I don't buy it as medicine (although it is conveniently good for me on diagnosed tinnitus), but I normally move by the oz. I try to buy enough to last a few months, so I can get a good discount, but not too much that it might start to be less potent by the time I finish up. Plus I worry a little about getting caught with a tremendous amount, cops around here would ream me if they could.

I personally like to go by the eighth or quarter. Round here variety consists of mids, mids, and schwag. I tend to go through an eighth to a quarter in a 2 week span, and I get paid every 2 weeks so it works out well. Recently I picked up an oz because the price was right. Within the first week, I had given more than half of it to jonesin' friends.
Im down to about an eighth left and Im kinda tired of it. I want different (better) mids right about now.
Well, what I really want is the variety of a dispensary... But better mids will suffice for now.

I just moved for work, and it's been interesting developing new connects in Cedar Rapids. Haven't had to do that since 2002. When I'm at home(chicago) I go by the Oz, pay 3ish, depending. Here, I haven't come across anything worth grabbin an O of, or anyone who gives a proper price. Prices here are STUPID. $150 a quarter for half way decent high end stuff, with no price break no matter how much I get, didn't go back to that guy. $135 a quarter for some better high end, but not the great stuff I'd been spoiled with for so long. $40 for a quarter of mids that this chick didn't even weigh, just grabbed a handful and threw it in a bag. I just laughed. I'm not gonna squabble over a few dollars worth of mids full of seeds. Everyone out here calls everything thats green and smells nice Kush. It's funny.
One guy claimed to get purely medicinal grade, and showed me bud of locally grown stuff that was purple and beautiful. He was all set to give me his # and become my connect until he found out I was from Chicago. He then denied me because he doesn't trust people from out of town. He thought I was a cop. That was a first.
Unrelated...if anyone in Cedar Rapids wants to get together and talk about the weather, get at me
EDIT: An oz typically would last me 2.5 to 3 months. Now that I'm buyin by the quarter, i find myself making the quarter last nearly 3 weeks, and it's considerably less potent. I think having a smaller supply forces me to make it last longer. And that I'm paying nearly double.

Usually grab a half Oz to a full Oz depending on whats available , but at the same time , I try to grab different varieties to make my count work for me , I like to have at least three varieties on hand at all times so I can vary the tastes and results

Yeah, my some guys I use to hang-out with said they'd get sick of the same strain after a month or so. Its personally never bothered me, I can hit the same shit all year (I guess I haven't actually tried this, so we'll see), but I can sympathize with anyone who does get tired of the same shit. I do it for my juice, my food, etc. why not with weed?

Same. I vape every single night and a gram lasts me over a month so I go to the dispensary with plans of only getting a gram. That is, until I look at all those beautiful flowers and end up walking out with 3 to 4 grams of different strains. I just can't help myself.aero18 said:

I vape about .1-.3 a day depending. I really don't purchase much, I'm new to this whole thing. I would get smoked up a lot when I started, and I've bought a good amount. Most I've bought is an 8th, going ofr like 1/2 or an O this time around
