In Search for another portable.

Just wanted to get some opinions on choosing a new portable. so far I have the solo, love my solo, just would like to have something else there kinda on backup but also a little quicker and stealthier. I was planning on getting a PA for the solo eventually so not particularly looking for a desktop as I am on the move a lot. SO far have my eyes locked on the Pinnacle Pro, I was skeptical at first however about 60 or so pages of reading that thread it has me really wanting to try it.
The inhalater xp seems a little out of my price range as Im looking at the pro for about 170 shipping to canada from an ebay seller. and we all know since its christmas time there will be some extra money floating around. other vapes i may be considering are firewood 2.0, which has a little nicer price range and is neat, possible a MFLB off of massdrop but very unlikely. also another option maybe the Tvape. please chime in with any ideas, tips or places to check out.

basically looking for something a tad stealthier and quicker than my solo, but can also pack a good punch and get myself medicated before the pain hits

I think you're on the right track with the PNP given your price range unless you are open to torch based vapes like the VG.

Anyway, seems like PNP or Inhaler XP is the way to go given that stuff like the Ascent and FireFly are out of your price range.

ya im a portable guy, ive read a bit into the firefly as well as inhalater and lotus. firefly seems to new and finicky, just my opinion from seeing vapecritics review, as for the inhalalter it seems a little pricey still at 250. the lotus even though cool as it is, im not huge for the whole torch thing, and only have one piece of glass if to adapt. I just like to medicate efficiently and without to much hassel like taking minute long tokes or some shit.

My only real other options in mind are the firewood and or the Tvape. PNP on ebay for $180 or so shipped to Canada is damn fine though

no need to be sorry, its a sick vape for sure, but after contemplating some more, it seems still the PNP is the way to go, the mflb i would consider maybe at cheaper price point as with the lotus. the lotus to me just seems like more work, two hands instead of one, which adds to stealth. I will definitely consider the lotus in the future, maybe a new model or version. for the price right now the PNP is legit

Well, it's not much work, but it's definitly not stealthy.

What i like most in the Lotus is that you can vape a bowl in 2 hits, so it compensates on the stealth factor with being able to be so quick.

But, if you're looking for something stealthy and to be used INSIDE the movie hall while you need to be silent, something like the PNP is definitly more suitable.

And although there is some conduction in the Pinnacle and the taste suffers from it, plus there is only 45min of autonomy, it is stealthy enough to be used anywhere.

dang it man now you got me thinking again, you hit the spot with what i want. I want something quick and powerful, i need to be able to medicate efficiently and as clean and healthy as possibly. I like the PNP but the downside is a heatup time but thats and 8 min session so can be pretty quick. also plastic howevver from the confirmation from their engineers i feel i am getting a quality product which is also how i feel the lotus would be. only question about the lotus is if the WPA would fit my piece i have and 18mm male so i would need another adapter.

Lotus kit has the wpa, 137USD. It has a pipe stem, a lotus cap, a water adapter and a lighter. You only need a 14mm bong or sherlock to use the adapter with the cap.

I'm enjoying the Lotus a lot, very quick and very tasty, not an usual combination. It's usually either tasty or quick. Sometimes neither.

Very quick to use, and powerful...at home or on the go. Has a nice look and feel of quality. Did I mention EFFECTIVE?!!! Tasty! In the pocket with a bowl-full is a stealth maneuver. I'm talking Lotus!

I have tried vaping in the movies in the past as well as in bars, coffee shops, restaurants and all kinds of public places with vapes like the Solo, the MFLB, the INH, the Pax, everything in my sig really except the Hot Pod and the FlashVape. There was always the issue of smell and the looks that came with it as well as the odd looks of "what the fuck is he sucking at"! With the Lotus stealth got a totally new meaning though...
You can just go to a WC for a pee and 2 mins later max you are back with your friends and feeling great. Can't be stealthier than that ime!!!
When on that ski lift though and with some good wind blowing at your face... Another story! Get a PNP for windy situations. It depends where you use it more. If you can recharge or have a spare bat with you, I would suggest a FireFly, it fits both scenarios and is as great in vapor production as the Lotus and it should be even easier to use it!

Yeah, i figured it out after i wrote it.

It seems the Firefly has a battery like the Thermovape products, roughly 2-3 bowls and that is it.

Usually convection vapes have a battery life of less than 30min, still can't beat a jet lighter for the same kind of extraction IMO. And they are usually bigger than a flame based unit.

The Solo is great for mindless vaping and it is silent but it is not small nor stealthy. The heater has been improved in the newer versions and it now charges while in use which is something very good.

But i gotta tell you that my Solo has been gathering dust before being sold because i used the Vaponic and the HI in 99% of situations.

I have stopped using vaporizers in ultra stealth situations like the movies though.

I consider my PNP to be a great compliment to my Solo for exactly what you want...something smaller and stealthier. I recommend it, but the instant hits you can get with the Lotus or Vapor Genie have their advantages as well. If you are fine with a session vape like the Solo then you will probably really appreciate the PNP. You know how that works...if you turn it on you are committed to it for ten minutes. I really want to try the Lotus, but the reality is I already have three Vapor Genies and rarely use them...I just prefer the battery portables to the flame based ones for my situations.

This makes no sense to me. If you have to go into a bathroom for stealth then all of the ones you named are just as stealthy as the Lotus.

I agree, but the fact that you can kill a load quick is the main difference between the Lotus and any of those.
True stealth only with the LB and the Palm. Good discretion is what i consider something like the Ascent, PNP and at a lesser degree the INH.
I consider the Vaponic a very discrete vaporizer considering i can hide it in my palm while hitting it and while heating it as well. The only problem is the lighter IMO, but even that is manageable unless silence is imperative.

But, to be honest, i think that if i wanted to i could use a Jet lighter in my vaponic or in a vapman while at the movies. I only needed to be in a row all by myself.

Def serriously consider the firewood 2.0 thing rips like a champ and tastes SO SO good plus its on the cheaper end, and Marc is an awesome owner to work with if anything goes wrong in anyway.

I love my solo, I dont think it will ever really collect dust to be honest, it hits so good and is just so simple, since i have the m1a it doesnt charge while hitting it, so i will just add a pa eventually to make it complete. I plan on also getting the stealth adapter stem for the solo and while even though the size isnt the same as the PNP it would definitely help with the stealth the glass i guess is the only worry.so i wonder if the solo may be to similar to the pnp to go for right now.i have a few days to really decide and wait for my money to transfer to my paypal. Right now im split, PNP, lotus with goods that @vorrange suggested , or possibly the firewood, the firewood really caught my eye, thanks @Trever for the input. I would like to hear some more about the firewood. im gonna scan that thread again, only thing with the firewood i question is bowl size.

Yeah capsule is quite small but you would be serriosly surprised on how much vapor is produced. I can get 10 to 15 nice clouds before the load is finished.

I am a medical patient with arthritis and am currently tendering a spaghetti knee,Torn MCL,PCL,ACL and partial LCL tear with a hyperextension to the whole knee. The pain is heavy and I need something that can deliver without to much hassle and pack a punch. With the firewood Im sure it wouldnt be hard to have a few extra capsules packed as I already do that with pre packed solo stems. how long is a session usually with the firewood @Trever ?
