I'm new to slow cookers and crock pots.

I was to use my mom's slow cooker to make some cannaghee and I noticed that the glass lid covered the cooker but there was still a tiny amount that was un covered. Does this mean the THC will evaporate into the air and not be absorbed by the ghee??

Is it true that the Slow Cooker needs to be more than halfful in order to cook properly? I just need some basic tips.

you dont want it like an airtight seal or anything, its not supposed to be a super tight fit if I recall correctly...
you wont lose much from butter this way.

I have used a crock pot every time and it consistently produces very potent butter. The first time I used one it wasn't over half full, not really even close and it still worked well.

I always make my butter in a slow cooker (croc pot) use about 3.5g of decent weed in butter,although never sure how long to leave in pot, normally i leave overnight on low setting seems to work ok
