I cant give you a very good answer to be honest. Being UK based access to clean hash has been severly limited all my life, and my allergies have prevented me from being able to source any ganja away from home since 2005.
All I know is I have been familiar with a particular type of Morrocan hash over the years simply known as "Pollen".
I don't know how it is made, where exactly it comes from, and what exactly differentiates it from other types of hashhish.
The one I tried in my Omni is gone now. It the typical light yellow, pressed bar but soft and crumbly. I have one now that is totally different, called "Caramello egg". It is dark, oily and squidgy like Black. And sticky as fuck! A nightmare to "work" with lol
. Comes wrapped in about 30 layers of clingfilm (for transit sake) and has to be frozen just to get it out, then into greeseproof paper.
Just scooped up a quick word from random forum. I would have learnt more about it ages ago if it wasn't just another tease:
"Pollen dont burn, crumble or taste even smoke like hash,if you didnt know any the wiser you would SWEAR you were smoking some real good bud, thats the difference between hash and pollen, basically the best of the plant is 'extracted' and pressed and cultivated into 'quality' pollen..put it this way pollen sells for double the price of hash round here which is the equivalent to the price of good weed like original blueberry, white widow, ect.
Pollen is resin made in India,Morrocco even the United Kingdom, generally of higher quality than 'red seal Black' hashish, and appears in soft, pliable or hard, almost brittle, form. It can appear in slabs, or moulded into various shapes. Typically 12%-17% THC
Pollen is superior quality to for instance Moroccan hashish, normally in round 9oz blocks. Similar in appearance to Lebanese( light and fluffs up/expands when burnt) , but of MUCH higher potency,it represents earlier 'shakes' than used to produce soap-bars, and the resin is of softer texture. Typically 10-15%% THC".
