I have been eyeing the Venus Apollo today. Can anyone tell me how is it?
Hey there, when I read your OP I instantly was reminded of the Apollo regarding the fast extraction. I "microdose" with the smallest chamber setting of my Omnivap and the same amount also works pretty well in the Apollo (since I don't have a scale, I use that amount for testing my vapes). Taste is great as well. So in those aspects, I think that you would not be disappointed.
BUT as
@PPN pointed out, the Apollo is quite big, it takes time to heat-up and the chamber is hard to change/refill on the go, because the chamber gets very hot it might also be problematic when one wants to put it back into ones pocket after being done.
If it does not necessarily has to be an on-demand vape with such a fast extraction, I can recommend the HealthyRips Fury2. A session is 4 Minutes, it can handle small loads very well, heats up in about 30 seconds, has a nice taste and is very portable/pockatable. Battery life is about six 4 minute sessions when fully loaded. Since it is charged via USB you can use a powerbank when away for a longer time. And HR has shown great customer support so far.
Since I am in europe I had to import the Fury2 (customs is about 20% on top of the price in germany) which might not be appealing. The final price with import fees and shipping was about 160€ (in case someone grabs it and runs away it would be cheaper to replace than the Apollo). So far there are no european distributors but HR said they would look into that.
Hope I am not to far away from your OP. I bought the Fury2 for a similiar use case and was really happy with the purchase, because I expected a lower quality product but the opposite was the case. Really considering to buy a second one right now (since my GF stole mine), regardless of the import trouble, since HR gifts the new glass mouthpiece until the 16th of January.
Good luck with your decision. Lotsa options to choose from.
