I very frequently don't get notifications...

As the heading describes, even when I am quoted! A tag seems to still send me an alert, but what's up with this FC?

Any quotes or tags done during an edit of a post does not generate notifications. Maybe it's that?

Nope, I got no notifications for these responses to a thread I created for example lol

I am talking about alerts on the FC website in the top right corner, not email alerts.

Could it be that for every notification you don't receive, someone else (like me) get them instead?

This seems to be happening to me lately also. Unsubbing and then re subscribing to that thread seems to take care of it ime.

If you have ignored an Alert for a Watched Thread (i.e. you don't read the thread during your current session) then the software assumes you aren't interested and you will stop getting Alerts for that thread until you visit it again. You don't have to unsubscribe.

Ya I am aware of that, maybe I missed it or something but I don't think that's the case. I had to re-sub to a couple threads this last week because i wasn't getting alerts
