I can't like posts on my phone anymore!

Don't know if this is a known issue but I just can't click the like button on my S7 anymore. When I try to do so, the position of the button changes during the click but nothing happens after that, no like.

I am sure that I did not notice this issue when I was here some months ago.

Have you tried in landscape mode?

Works perfectly fine on landscape mode, the buttons even turn into buttons by design. On vertical mode the button design is missing, it just shows the word "like".

Tbh I'm having landscape mode turned off usually so I simply won't share likes on my phone anymore :/.

Yeah, I remember a few people awhile back complaining of same issue and the only solve mentioned was to use it in landscape.
Sorry, wish I knew of a fix in portrait.

Hi I have this issue also for a few months, but finally found a solution:
I found it works if you press the Like text for a bit longer. Not so long as to open up the copy/paste feature though, just short of that. Experiment a bit with the timing.

Have an LG Android Oreo phone & it takes me many presses for the Like button to register in portrait mode. And yes, the Like button moves around. I didn't have this issue on my older LG android version.

Tried landscape mode, but have the same issue. But, thanks to @Jill NYC, the posts are once again numbered in landscape mode so I once again have the ability to copy & post links.

I THINK (no in-depth testing yet), the key to getting an y.like in portrait mode is to keep clicking the like bottom as it moves up & down & wait till it stops in the down position right under the Report button. I will be testing.

Haha! That is exactly what I do. No too long not too short. A real challenge if your cross faded.
