hydro dipping water pipes?

My brother in another location ,and isn't as 420 friendly as I am, started hydro dipping. He started with Rubbermaid tubs now he has a huge tank able to dip up about a house door size object. Well any ways he wont dip my water pipe he's a lame guy but he said he would show me how its done. It is 400f Heat resistant
What you guys think?

I'd love to see it done on some water tools. It's got good heat resistance you can dip everything from guns to rocker covers. It may effect taste a little but it could look really great. Shame he's a lame ass.

Yeah it is. I would plug all holes to keep the hydro graphics from going inside. Im sure going inside would mess the graphics up from wrapping around it.

I'm not sure it would matter if the inside was dipped at first, but I would be concerned how the coatings would hold up to repeated ISO washes over time.... Whether the holes are plugged or not, it will not affect the graphics, they will wrap around the outside of the glass just the same.


Dipping is awesome, lots of folks are doing it in RC to transmitters and other bling.

I looked into it. Hydro graphics will not work because iso will wash it away. I imagine a giant mess..

there was a company awhile back that was doing this - we were in talks about making some tubes for them - i don't see why it wouldn't work as long as you aren't washing your piece all the time on the outside - similar to electroforming ( you wouldn't wash those all the time either )
