How was your last week?

There have been 3 Subaru's in my immediate family of 4 & the only issue was a blown turbo on a lovingly mistreated Liberty GT & even that occurred at 125k. I know a lot of people who have owned Subys & none have been lemons that I recall. The stock Imprezas are a very sure footed car with plenty of feedback given through the car & AWD.

This time last year I was new car shopping & I had test driven the WRX & STI. The WRX was really unengaging & most unlike the previous WRX's. It was pretty much bloated lumpy shell of it's former self & the STI whilst a beefier version of the WRX does not really compare to a Golf R for similar money. As it was I fell in love with a car $10k under my budget. Every day I am in traffic I wish I had a Subaru or Honda due to the rattles & average everything. Given some windy roads & it will leave you grinning from ear to ear though.

This week was good. Next week will be good too except I need to pay my annual insurance & registration for my car & all my other cars were mid year when I was not so strapped.

Dear gawd get those aweful contraptions outta here;)

Those masks will burn the retinas out your eyeballs....

New outback is balls-out ridiculous. Eyesight maintains lanes, senses obstacles in front of me, adjusts speed of cruise control/ breaks automatically....just love it!

I looked at that eyesight, it actually doesn't seem bad but giving up control of the brakes and steering is a weird concept for me. With the 3.6r's better headlights it would have been great for avoiding moose.

One of the cool things about the current imprezas, is they seem to have more in common with the legacys from the era mine was from than they do the current legacys. So my old gt rims should fit on this.

It's the most entry-level impreza, but still has about everything I want except the legacy's ride comfort and heated wiper park. One of the options I had to add was the sliding armrest.

Happy new year east-coasters !

Subaru's are beasts, they're incredibly popular in New England, you don't seem them a lot of other places.

My New Years was pretty good! I got pretty drunk, I enjoyed my EQ, it was pretty good. No regrets! I'm looking forward to 2016.
