How much water can be evaporated from bud?

like say you have somewhat moist bud. How much in weight is that going to differ from a thoroughly dried bud?

it really depends on how fresh n moist your bud is. If it is really moist and not properly dried your going to get a bunch of water out of it in your first few hits.

One of my biggest pet peeves is wet weed

If the stems dont snap you will lose at least .5 from an 1/8th

Dry your weed before you sell it!!

I have had to 'recure' buds in a paper bag/glass jar several times when they sold it to me still 'wet'.

This usually isnt an issue for them as they combust, but it presents me with a problem as it takes a few hits just to get it dry enough to vape. PITA really...

i chuck mine in the dehydrator if needed, but never took note of a weight difference. primarily because i only have a digital kitchen scale for baking to weigh it so no fractions of grams. it does feel lighter and i don't have to pull 2 or 3 hits from my LB to get it vapin' so i do know it is much drier.

wet weed irks the hell out of me too, but beggars can't be choosers, i get what i can get and like it. :/
