How much better is the volcano than the da buddha?

I have the da buddha and love it, had it for 3 years. I am very happy with it.
But I still wonder how much better the volcano is than the da buddha? Is it worth the upgrade and $500 price tag?

Your thoughts?

I can't tell you about comparing the two because I dont have a da buddha, however I bought a volcano maybe 3-4 months ago and I couldnt be happier. I use it everyday, very easy to use and maintain. I use it for both herbs and concentrates and it works well either way. According to others, there are other vapes with better quality vapor, however with my Volcano I can make the bags as thick as I want. If you have friends/family that come over, the volcano is also very good because its easy to fill up multiple bags and pass them around between each other.

I have one, only because I bought it 7 years ago and there was not many alternatives out there and I got it for half price, brand new. I eventually switched from old valve set to easy valve set. It does not get much use. It's very durable, has been dropped, left on for hours, even for an entire day by accident and it still runs like a beast.

I only use it when I want to get super couch-locked and I'll throw some ABV and crank up the temp.

IMO You could do better with $500.

As Rude Boy said, it's not better, just different. Some people prefer sucking on a plastic bag to get their vapor, and some like sucking on a long silicone tube to get their vapor. For me, I don't like either and much prefer direct draw delivery systems, preferably glass.

it really boils down to preference. i'm a daily buddha user but when i visited my cousin in california last winter i left i didn't bother bringing it because of his volcano. he has the solid valve classic (non digital) model. he now strongly prefers combustion so i got to experience what it was like to have the volcano as a daily vape. up until this point, i had really wanted one. i thought that they seemed so precise compared to da buddha, since da buddha loads can easily burn if someone doesn't hit the vape fast enough. and don't get me wrong, it is exact and precise, but i ended up missing my dbv. by the end of the week i was not even using the volcano after the morning time

it was just kind of difficult to take down a whole volcano load by myself. not because i couldn't handle it, but because after the second bag i didnt really like the taste anymore even though there was still plenty of vapor left to go. the more i tried to use it, the more i realized that i preferred the bowl size and on-demand vapor production style of the DBV. i felt like i had to huff down the bags of vapor to make sure they didn't get stale, whereas i can lazily hit da buddha. i will add that if you are vaping with more than two people the volcano would easily edge out da buddha, with the volcanos larger bowl size also working to its advantage in this situation. its definitely a top notch vaporizer but it lost its grail status to me after that week.

other things of note.. the fan is pretty loud. but moreso that you can just easily hear the vibration if you're in the house and the fan is on. the most surprising thing to me was that i initially liked the volcano for the precision that it offered, but i came away admiring my buddha for the control that it gives you. i didn't realize that i became so accustomed to my buddha
