I think it is that he needs to stop using for some time, due to drug testing. So he's asking how to best store his goodies.
1. plastic baggies are bad bad bad and need to go.
2. glass canning jars are the cheapest option.
3. sunlight degrades herbs so store in closet/dark
4. "Boveda" packs are small packets that keep the jar at an ideal humidity so it does not mold (too wet) and does not dry out into dust (too dry). They make a 62% that works great.

I think so. I add a 62% Boveda pack to my stash plus an Oxygen absorbing packet. It maintains a perfect humidity plus the oxygen is minimized.

This is a lot of very good information.
However, one thing about boveda packs that too many folks do not seem to understand:
Your bud must be dry to the point that the stems are readily frangible without any give/twisting/bending before you put it in with a boveda pack and jar it up. If you have not done this you can still get mold, even with boveda packs over the long term. Some of you might have jarred up damp material right away with 62% boveda packs and not gotten mold - remember that some varieties are less susceptible to mold and that mold can take a long time to become visible to the naked eye. In some cases, you might not see any mold for 6-9 months after jarring up damp material. The bottom line: Don't leave it to chance!
Remember, 62% RH is enough humidity for mold to thrive and if you have material that wasn't properly dried out and is then sealed and left in these conditions, you are giving that mold a head start in your race against it!
Squiby's idea for oxygen absorbers is a great idea too! Definitely worth doing and I do the same myself. This will help prevent oxidative degradation of your resin.
Cool (~65f is ideal, don't let it get past 72f if you can at all help it!), dry (55-62% RH - the lower in this range the better for mold prevention but regardless, only after properly drying the material as above, do not seal up overly damp material!), dark and oxygen-free is what we want for optimal storage. Proper monitoring of conditions with a hygrometer/thermometer where you store your meds is also recommended - don't leave it up to guesswork.
Please remember that your temps need to be kept low, this is especially important if your RH is lower than 62%. There is no sense putting in all the above effort if the space you're storing in is getting hot. You're gonna end up with a jar of material that loses smell rapidly (even if boveda packs may slow this process). Store your material low to the ground, as heat rises and these positions will be cooler

I also have a few Cvaults. I do like glass canning jars too. Another thing to consider about the Cvault container is that if you have cannabis in it and in your car, cops would need a search arrant to open it. That's what I was told at a safe access meeting.

I recently got some small glass jars with a screw top lids from the dollar store, so far so good. Have been opening them up every couple days. Just experimenting with storage. Also they are being stored in a dark closet.

The enemies of long term cannabis storage are: heat, light, air
Bovedas work best on cannabis that has been adequately dried to close to 62% (the Boveda humidity %).
Fresh cut herb needs to be in jars and burped (top opened to release the high humidity) until the humidity comes down some.
An airtight jar in your shed in Texas, covered by a towel could be airtight and no light BUT probably gets hot. Moderate temps like 70 are best so any other options where temp is a little lower.
100 F isn't going to kill the bud but will slowly degrade it.

For only a month, almost anything will do. Air tight container, in the dark, proper humidity, in a warm/hot shed for a month and it should be fine/ lose very little.
I have a gram of great CO dispensary bud from 18 months ago, put up in a JyARZ (small airtight glass and no light in container ). It has a Boveda 62% pack which I have had to replace once (or twice??) and that herb is better than the day it was stored. It is inside where it has always been 60 - 80 F.
