Can/does anyone here get the feeling of waves of energy / vibrations throughout your body (8-9+), and stay at that level for a while (more than a minute at least)?

Sure, all the time. If I vape around .2g of high grade in a session, I can feel the waves of energy and body vibrations that you refer to.. Usually lasts about 30 minutes or so before it evens out to a more mellow stone.

I honestly need to keep better track of my usage. I spend waaaay too much money on marijuana from Colorado dispensaries. I try to keep it down to 1oz per month, and I think lately I've managed to stretch out an oz to nearly 1.5 months. I'm an all-day, everyday vaper.

I love my tolerance when I have forced t-breaks, even if it's just a few days. One hit out of the Arizer Air and I'm good for the next TWO hours [8]. My tolerance builds quickly though, so I then need to use more and more. I get less high each time and the comedown comes within the hour.

I normally reach around a [6] or a [7] when I vape, that's my sweet spot. I think I'm on a [6] right now after vaping some ABV out of the Da Buddha. I have so much ABV, I don't even get a forced tolerance break before I head back up to Denver. Not that I'm complaining! I'm goooood right now.

I usually go through roughly 1g-1.5g a day i use public transportation so i tend to vape a bowl between each stop when i have to wait before work. another session at lunch a super sesh after work. (Mainly co workers all relaxing after work) and then my bed time bowl i usually sit around 4-5. I rarely get to a high over a 6 and its all good quality herb.

an oz takes about 3-4 months. typical session is 1 bowl to get a solid 7. beyond that it takes more emphasis on setting than simply increasing hits unless im in a group then i usually jump straight to 10, im that guy. things sure have changed since ive started but my aim has remained.

When I first started smoking weed, I was getting to an 11 every time. It was so much fun. Having what I like to call, video vision, where it seemed like everything passed frame by frame. The time dilation. Lighting a cig and after what felt like 20 minutes later, the cigarette only being a few centimeters burned. Laughing at Everything, even if there was no reason to. Those were the day. Was able to keep that feeling for almost a year. Then I had to take a mandatory break for six months:cry: It was never the same afterward... Could only achieve like a 6 maybe 7ish. Now a days usually get to a 4 most of time. Can sometimes get to a 6 but end up getting really tired quickly after so don't really try to get there. Didn't see much of a difference in highs from smoking to vaping but definitely vape less. Was going through bout two-two1/2 ounces a month when was smoking, now doing half that with vaping. All in all, I wish I could get back to those magical double digits

This is an interesting question! I vape every day, usually twice a day, but I try to keep my tolerance down by micro dosing. I usually vape .05gm of Sativa or Sativa dominant strains like Jack Herrer or XJ-13 early in the evening, taking 3-4 10 second hits, and that gets me to about a 3 or 4 on that scale. I like to stay functional and conversant because my wife doesn't medicate with me. If I have friends or maybe my son over then I might do a little more. Then near bedtime I'll do a similar amount of an Indica Dom like Purple Kush or GDP or Cherry Pie. That usually puts me to sleep within the hour but not before I experience lovely waves of euphoria as my bodymind unravels and dissolves in a 5-6.

What the hell it doesn't really matter anyway. After 45 years of smoking and 1 year of vaping I don't get stoned anymore, I just vape and get depressed.

Well that, if true, is a total bummer. Why get high then? Oh, you don't.

Why would you use cannabis if it has such a bad affect on you? Sorry for your depression, I hope better times are a head.

@Hubs88, why do you not get high. Just because you have smoked for 45 years doesn't mean you are immune to it. You must be doing something wrong. Either you have fucked your tolerance, which is easily fixable, or you are not in the right state of mind, less easy to fix.

Iv smoked every day for 16 years (vaping last 8 weeks), no t break. And I still manage to get very high. Do you have some issues with not having enough fat in your body?

@Hubs88 Sounds like your tolerance level is out of control. You need to have a T break for 72 hours. If we use all day everyday the medicated state isn't as good - everything in moderation friend.

You are so right @kellya86 some folks aren't able to take a t-break. I use cannabis for pain and muscle spasms. I try to cut back and then try to do without if possible for 72 hours. It helps to restart the clock.

It's sad news if our fav flower is having the opposite effect on some, then it should.

For some a T break is just not possible. I know I can't.

It can all be done by gradually reducing the dose. It still takes self control, like stopping at just one hit, but not as much as you would need for a t break.

@Hubs88, your statement was the most depressing thing iv read on this wonderful site. And there are many sad stories on here. But these stories are getting better thanks to people using the magic herb to their benifit.
If cannabis is making you depressed then I don't know what to suggest...

I like to vape high cbd/low thc strains about half of the time and it is incredible what it does for your tollerance. No tbreaks here and I get quite high on 0.1gr bowls out of my crafty when I use some 15%+ nugs.

There's a strain called pineapple that's a strong-smelling/tasting pure sativa, lots of folks like it but it makes me tense and that translates to headaches and pain. I require indica, or at least indica-dominant strains. I suppose this is a long-winded way to say that the strain really matters, and it's different for everybody.

Our brain and body chemistries must determine the quality of our high as much as anything else. Adrenal exhaustion or severe chronic nutritional deficiencies or metabolic disorders may very well set the stage for a bummer. Before I finished going through female hormonal changes I had a spell of a few years in which I could get high only half of each month...the other half I would just get fried. Now that I have rebalanced, I can get high whenever I want.

Just used the vapman, 6 bowls in so probably around .3 and an easy 5/10! I fear chasing the dragon may be my main cause of VAS:( haha.

@hibeam, you are correct. there are many factors which affect the high.
Like you say, chemical imbalance in the body and brain play a huge part in it.

Also psychological state also affects the high.

Nutrition levels in the body too.

Many factors In getting high.

How high do you usually get when you vape?
Probably about a 4 during the day until I'm done with classes or work, then I hit a 7 or so
(LSV can help me hit 9...I don't think 10s/11s are possible before I'd start feeling spinny and sick)

How much do you vape each time (if you vape in sessions)?
.05-.15 using the Nano or LSV

How much do you vape in a day total (don't average in days in which you vape nothing)?
about .5 +/0 .2

This scale reminds me of first few months of starting out cannabis...a lot of these effects seem to fall off as you take the escalator more often, and then evens out as you become a daily user.

this is very true. i'd throw in the location/environment/setting as a big factor as well. lots of academic studies on this one, and cases of regular daily users of a substance suddenly OD'ing when taking the same dosage in a different setting.

things don't get that serious with THC so it can be fun to mix up spots :)

For me, what's interesting about that chart is that cannabis has NEVER got me above #7, but thats not to say that other substances have gotten me past #11 'cause they have.

#8---"Waves of euphoria rush through your body every 5 to 9 seconds"? Really? On cannabis?

For the purposes of this thread, we will use the following scale to describe different levels of highness.

I'd say the first few times I tried cannabis (was vaping with an No2 and took 3 big hits within about 2-3 minutes), I reached 8-9. I definitely remember some CEV's especially with music, and full body vibrations/waves of energy. I never got too stoned to function though.

I'm more of a laid back vaporizer now, though, in that I like to listen to music, watch videos, read forums, etc., while vaping, so I usually have 40-60 minute sessions. This paces it, and keeps the effects at around a 4-6. If I crammed it all into 10 minutes, I'd probably get closer to an 8-9, but I do enjoy the process of vaping, the flavor, blowing clouds, etc., so I don't rush.

Great question, I never knew exactly why the SSV logo was "Ride The Wave " until I started vaporizing my Bubble Hash.

Even dabbed Bubble, never gave that sensation.

However, after putting a fat pile of Hash in the wand with chunks of frosted flowers......

The first time I experienced it... The first thing I thought of was 7th Floor's Slogan.

Waves of warm vibrations that would travel from cerebral in to the body in an eb & flow manner.
Visually, things become hazy, thoughts overlap each other, and my face feels like it's glowing.
This feeling lasts until I'm already in blissful slumber, which always starts 30-45 minutes before bedtime, so the duration is at least a hour or more.

When I eat edibles, there is no waves, it is a consistent buzzing sensation that also entails the same qualities of the wave, except it is constant.
This is very much what I experience when I dab full melt bubble on my sapphire halo my brother! It is a must try! One of these days you'll get to experience it I hope :D

I definitely experience what Hashtag describes above most days, but only with my night time doses to fight off my insomnia.

I do not vape in the traditional sense with flowers anymore at all unless I'm with friends who do.

I have not turned on my flower vape in months and sold all my flower vapes but my d-nail flower adapter. I don't do edibles (delta 11 THC and the more challenging titration of dosage that comes with oral ingestion frequently causes me bad anxiety/mental discomfort).

I find that concentrates give me a much less sedative/lazy effect than flowers, and get me the dose that I need much more quickly with a much nicer taste (I understand this is not the case for many, but most don't have as much solventless dabs as they need, I know I am fortunate to be in the position to be able to make great medicine for myself).

I only dab. Strictly my own rosin, bubble hash, dry ice sifts, QWISO/QWET and much more. Generally only rosin and full melt bubble hash these days.

Solvents have their place in my regime though, especially for dewaxing and such. Just takes a lot of work and know how to keep the terps while getting rid of the solvent. This may not be practical/achievable in all circumstances for all people.

If I have any respiratory problems, I will only use dewaxed concentrates for night time medicine and avoid other dabbing at all where possible.

I am a medical user, I dab every day almost completely year round for a few years and combusted for many years before that. Increasingly only later in the day but sometimes all day.

I rely on the clarity of dabbing vs flowers in no small part because I work very long hours as a scientist, as well as dealing with multiple chronic conditions.

If I dab during the day, I actually prefer to have a dab of my regular higher THC very high terpene meds only maybe once or twice during daytime. I may have one or two CBD dabs during this period too.

At night it is a different story since my insomnia requires substantial medicating.

I generally hit 1g of rosin and .5g of full melt each week. Some weeks this can vary in either direction. I dab about .05-.15 at a time generally and do not usually do sessions (not a good idea to do that when you're like me always wanting to be dabbing headstash ;) ).
