Middle of nowhere north eastern united states, no dsl let alone anything better, so I'm stuck with the united states joke of a satellite internet connection. Hughes Net is my choice of crap at a crap show.

I'm at work at the moment.. At home I only get 600kb/s download MAX, and 50kb/s upload max :( On a bad day though it is much much less than that. I still manage to watch/play/enjoy everything I want in ultra quality like a king, but when I see the speeds i'm getting at work... it makes me think...

Due to my speeds being nowhere near as fast when downloading anything compared to a speed test, and the fact I am only aloted 10 GB a month...

If I told you my cable bill it would kill you so I wouldn't have to . . . :lol:

Cumcast has me by the short hairs. I try to zig and zag through promotions but fuck it. If I want HBO so I can see Game of Thrones and college football in high def with fassssssst as fuck Internet and phone service and multiple DVRs its two hundred bucks a month plus change, no way around it. One thing thats nice is calls to many pacific islands in addition to Hawaii are free, this saves a lot on calls to the other side of the globe.

I miss Time Warner Cable (for internet), my current is good but the price is not.

EDIT:
I scroll up to ALL of the previous posts, my internet is not as fast as others on this page. I guess its extremely pricey now.

If you break out the internet, how much is that by itself?

I'm on Dish with HBO and Showtime with one DVR +ATT landline phone service+ internet........18 down....1 up and it's costing me almost as much as yours. My internet by itself is 45 dollars a month. FUCK.......

Fuck if I know. They make the bundles in certain ways so you just have to buy shit. Then they suck you in with a nice discounted price but after a while it goes up. The thing about "the wire" for me though is that it kicks ass . . . :nod:

Just got bumped up from 30 to 40Mb at no extra charge around Christmas/New year. Our internet is bundled with phone and now a modem rental fee, $90/month with taxes,tags,unfair,illegal fees,etc.

I'm 25mb/s down and 6mb/s up, 25 ping Comcast .... I get better service on my 30$ month prepaid cellphone.

But you have a data cap (and that's 4g), those are pretty good speeds, the average person shouldn't need above 25mbps. For the price it is good also, many providers only say they will give you those speeds at that price, while others don't even offer it until you get to 40-60 dollars.

I guess I'm technically slower than the majority of USA...
but I'm just fast enough to basically have no real issues.

First post in this thread I had 5.6mb/s - now that was a problem!
