How does Turbine Cyclone work?

Saw a post on reddit about this "cyclone turbine" perc.

What kind of perc is this?
Also wondering if it's worth it or if anyone has tried it?

Turbines arent new but ive never seen one implemented like that. Closest would be Gordo Scientific's RipTide perc. If that animated gif is real, it looks pretty cool. You can see a good shot of the perc (not really a perc but channels? ) from under and above on the website you linked. Interesting hollow foot design too.

I would think it's all show and really so-so function, with so much water you can see at the end it's like bubbles in a fishtank... but yeah sick vortex in the start

I saw that gif on reddit a while ago, I would imagine the drag on that thing would be intense! I find that even my stemless M&M has a decent amount of drag for vaping but pulling all that water ~4 inches through a tiny perc before getting any draw would not be fun IMHO

In the video I posted, the pipe neck is rather narrow and the overall piece isn't that big. I'd imagine the pull to not be too much worse than your average recycler.

I've checked his store but it does not appear anywhere yet, so I've wrote to him (5 mins ago) and waiting for answer which I will pass on as soon as I receive it.

The two are slightly different though the blue cyclone has 5 slits and the green one 4 and seems a tad thinner/smaller of a perc.

I'm not sold on this one yet. It looks great without restriction but we haven't seen any vapes on top yet. I have no doubt it will clear in a cool fashion, however I am skeptical how it will function with different vapes. I'm not a fan of filling a chamber then taking another breath to clear, I prefer it all at once. I will be anxiously awaiting this one!

I emailed smoke cartel and they said I was the second person to ask about aaryan creations as their supplier, they told me they asked them for a quote on restocking their units, but went with a different manufacturer. Now aaryan creations is "stealing" their design after them just asking for a quote, so idk. I'm just gonna wait for them to restock.

They are buying direct from China undoubtedly. Im sure theres a little bit if truth wrapped in a whole lot of BS in the reply they gave you.

Oh yeah, some of their glass I'm sure they are. Some of their stuff is definitely from US glassblowers though. Can't blame them for making a profit. Doubt they'll give up their supplier for the tornados though.

yes mostly all disc are pre fab

i have cases of both honeys and turbines

the tube mentioned in the OP won't perform very well but it does look cool as hell and since its coming straight from china should be a super deal @ $20 or so...

The turbines original purpose was a splashguard so the tube would be made shorter and more compact

i dont really see a point in making it the star of any piece - u need another filter behind it
