How can i make basket screens for elbow packing?

Ok so with the EV-2 i have been messing with elbow packing 18 male joints and i am looking into other vapes that do the same thing.

Here is my current setup, its the basket screen from a EV2 stem jammed in an 18 whip adapter, because an ELB cap is just barely too small to fit.

Is there a source for these or a screen press that makes the right size to fit in 18's like this?

BTW These whip hits into the little banger hanger are so good... kinda like it better than the ssv?

I can testify that the BP380 screens from Ratchett's press not only fit that outside diameter steps and wongs of the Underdog and Heat Island, they fit like a glove! Well, maybe not OJ's glove, but Ratchett still killed it! They fit either way with the slightest help from a chopstick to line into place. That's right 14mm, 18mm, Alan, Andy, Dave, Eds, regular or inverted you are set (Ed's won't go inverted without declaring a flat out war on your screen). If you own a Nano, UD, or HI you need to get your hands on one of these presses! Finally a product that is universal among the major logs, hats off to @Ratchett

I thought it could only do up to 14mm joints? But if i am wrong and it will make the size i want then ill gladly order one

That's for the E-Nano, UD, and HI wpa's not caps for 14 or 18 joints. Try packing the cap and tamp it in, turn it upside down to test if particles fall, then set in elbow then EV-2. Inhale a bit quicker or adjust the heat a tad lower and it might surprise you. If you're inverting on a wpa you don't need to tamp, this is how I use my LSV constantly.

What size joint do you want me to test? 18mm? I'll try fitting a screen into a M2M if you'd like before you waste your time/money

I'm also working on a new larger version for the RBT Milaana and Zion vaporizers, if my current BP380 basket screen press doesn't work, I know my new basket press (coming later this month) will do the job

It won't Ratchet, or at least I couldn't get it with a 3/8" copper ring on top of the press to make the proper fit for 18mm. It was just too wobbly, but with your new design and the proper sizing it will most definitely work. Can you possibly make an adjustable hole somehow, that would be intriguing!

Yerp, as suspected, my BP380 basket screen press does *not* fit an 18mm piece (too loose)

However, the new basket press coming out later this month should be compatible since they will be a larger diameter (with a flared basket to fit slightly different diameter tubes)

Yep, I found the same thing - too loose.

The new press will be using larger 1" diameter screens as opposed to 3/4 inch screens - this will allow us to create a deeper basket (to give more 'grip' on the side glass so it doesn't slip while stirring)

Good point. For the M2M joint on the Milaana you need a big chunk O screen. The largest I have is barely holding in there, kinda like a contact lens, and it took some creative percussion to get it to hold in place long enough for reclaim to hold it in now. Works great and exposes huge surface area in a shallow well, so it tastes quite nice. In a dangerous way as you are waiting for the screen to pop out like a contact lens... 'Weed Hunter'... if I needed to come up with a name for it...

edit - I actually thought about this right after a bowl flipped as we were mid rip. I coughed and wheezed, but was ultimately OK, except for some weed flecks stuck to the compooter screen...
