Hot Knives

Anyone here use hot knives? For those who use glass paddles, do you ever think it would be possible to heat it on my stove to approximate temperatures around 340 to acheive vaporization?

avoid glass unless you want a disposable tool, because the continual heating and cooling will weaken the glass.

i'm assuming the paddle is thin like a metal knife.

I've heard of people using a stove, but haven't tried it. I go for a butane torch.

Nasty habit, some people like to burn another knife instead of reusing the same...

You won't see that happen twice in my kitchen!
