Holidaze Sales 2019: Whatcha Gonna Do?

I’m surely not the only one excited about the BF*/CM weekend is one of our lil hobby’s big 3 annual sales events and it’s coming up in just a few weeks! Every year there’s a thread asking FC members what’s tickling their VAS before some of the very best deals of the year; it’s like finding out what the biggest toys this Christmas are! So like the title says, Do you have any plans for acquisition? Maybe there’s a new release you’ve got your eye on or perhaps it’s something you’ve been wanting for ages and now’s the time? Whatever it is, tell us about it! Might be a vape or other accoutrement, maybe some fancy glass or perhaps your focus is on amazing materials at great prices from your local dispensary! I’d love to experience that someday.

This year, I won’t get the thrills of online conquest and scoring some crazy deal because my big acquisitions for 2019 have been placed: a rosin press plus all the accessories from dabpress and a full setup from the man @710Coils. For someone in an uncivilised place with no access to concentrates, it’s pretty damn exciting!

@pxl_jockey good morning UK amigo. You know, I just heven't given this any thought at all. I usually don't even know which month of the year it is is most of the time although I have been a little better at that recently but I still the majority of the time it's far from my mind and where we actually are on the calendar.

But I have for quite a while now had a strong inclination to try out the Life Saber Vaporizer, aka LSV. Vapefiend socket but they haven't had the water pipe adaptor in stock or sometime I'm with a restocking soon sign. But I will check again. It does look and sound like a decent hitting, fairly easy to use vaporizer with very good quality vapor as well.

And I feel there is a good chance I would be able to tolerate it, but only one way to find out.


Edit- Also I've been so busy stocking up on clearnet lysegamides ahead of Brexit, while the opportunity is still there in this Golden Age of of pure lab grade LSD homologues practically legal delivered to your doorstep.

So this particular venture has been preoccupied in my mind (and finances lol) somewhat, otherwise I may have been more with the program approaching Black Friday etc.

Good thinking man. Sadly I couldn't use rosin after getting my own Dabpress model. But I could see immediateky from the off, the value and quality were top shelf and unbeatable. As well as the ethics of the lovely genius "Roger" (yeah right )

Great guy. I knew what I was getting into and I was not the least bit interested in looking elsewhere or slightly hesitant that I was not making the right choice you really can't go wrong with any of his models it's just about picking the absolute best one for your own needs and like I say he won't get better value and service all round, without even compromising on the end product.

I'm trying to stay away from the sales, I do have a Mi3 arriving around Christmas. It was an expensive last year just getting into vaping to get set up with what I like/want.

With that said, I will likely take advantage of the sales for lower priced accessories, maybe one of the water pieces, which have been intriguing me lately. However, if I get a piece, I'll probably go overboard on just wpa's for all my vapes! (So maybe I'll wait on the rig).

I'd like to cure my VAS forever this GREEN Friday (like that's possible. Lol).

I'm leaning on the NV Flowerpot fence. Vrod. My only concern is, it's all or nothing. Without a Canadian vendor, conversion, shipping, and potential duties, final price can/will get astronomical... So I can't just get bare bones, I gotta get the whole kit n kaboodle. Pid stand, glass bowl, insulated handle, extra screens etc...
Not cheap but the only way to go.

Right? It's crazy how we get raped internationally. However, I bought a blackwood woodscents to pair with my Dynavaps this past year. I thought my VAS would be healed, but the log vape experience, (while enjoyable, a microdosers dream), wasn't enough. Taste n effect I've felt higher/better. So I continue the search for the heaviest tastiest hitter. End price for my custom US hand made beauty? Can't remember, but after conversion etc.. It cost me over $600 Canadian. Black wood was substantially more expensive, but my preference .. So, I can justify The price of FP especially if it ticks off ALL the boxes! Hell they still sell Mighties for $450 CAD $600CAD for a vrod? No Brainer?... Yes I'm trying to convince myself! Lol

Just to say I don't think you will be disappointed and I am confident that all of your expectations and hopes will be met and I'm sure that in relation to what you have said about your experience with the Woodscents, as great as it is, that you will find everything you are slightly missing and looking for in the Flowerpot system.

It will tick those boxes with a big smile. I bet you are gonna love it man, so just offering some Assurance that I think it will definitely be worthwhile for you and will fill that niche in your search for something just that bit extra.

I can relate to that entirely I went down the same road myself and tried most of the top guns out including the Flowerpot as you may they have seen.

Unfortunately my insane intolerance reactions have prevented me from finding what I would class as my ideal dream device but I have let go of this obsessive desire and been making do with what I do have at my disposal in this first world lol!

Currently, the WS has been my daily driver as one of the few vapes I can use without a bizarre intolerance reaction to the vapor signature itself above and beyond the cannabis.

But the reason I am using it mostly out of my available options is because of the tiny amounts of herb I can get by using which gives me more peace of mind stretching out our fantastic harvest this year which was only 250g and is my favourite for vaporizing out of everything we have here from previous summers, so it is a big bonus not having to load up big bowls and tear through weed rapidly, as I would be if I was making more regular use out of the Elev8r.

The Woodscents has also been favoured over my vapcap at home simply because the vapor quality is vastly superior.

So it hits and performs well, but not my dream vape by any stretch.

I hope you get your Flowerpot mate and it lives up to expectations and hopes.

Just having a nice cup of black tea, then a chunky edible dose to begin my evening Elevating, vapour will likely be brought in later on as a brilliant complement to the edible high.

I'm still totally wrecked from yesterday and this morning before going back to sleep after a few loads and plenty of edibles each day. But, duty calls!

Thanks. I appreciate your thoughts and experience. Reading your post made me smile! Can't lie. While I enjoy the vapor from my Woodscents, I was a little disappointed it couldn't completely satisfy me. Then a new version with updated heater dropped within about 2,3 months? All good.

A Lotus cap with WPA has also been on the list for a long time. That can wait. VROD. GREEN FRIDAY.. Imagine NewVape didn't have a sale!? Then I'd pass. Everything is dependent on the SALE!

I'd really like to get a new pipe... been wanting a new daily driver for a while, been using the same rig for a few years. There's some really nice stuff at some good prices right now. I'm not much of an impulse buyer, but I'm feeling the tempt!

Also been wanting to put a flower vape in the stable again, not sure what; been wanting a WeedEater for a bit since I sold my SH/VROD. Curious about many of these newer portable vapes but not sure if any of them are truly on the same page as a top tier desktop. I just don't want something that perpetually feels like it wastes weed compared to a proper plugin. Hate the habitual "habitation station" vibes I always end up getting from desktop vaporizers though, making me want to huddle around the vape all day long.

I always enjoy and follow your posts with interest, but as I have previously mentioned you are always so selflessly committed and focused on helping and advising others and I'm always left wanting to know more about all things Invertedisdead lol.

Honestly, there is always this curiosity in the back of my mind when reading your posts, assmimilating them. Like a little candle staying lit. Im always interested in your personal situation, don't ask me why haha.

And I can also tell you that you are one of the people who I would love to have a magical tickets or pass to come and spend a little time with and have a nice session and get to know you a little more in person.

So please do continue to tell. I am sure I'm not alone here in being interested in that extra little glimpse into your own world and predicaments/dilemnas. @LesPlenty yes. You put me on to all the best links for WS use. (once again, I much appreciated) I recieved the MI ni vvps, that is the best for portability as it has so many inputs. That same vvps you show in the picture never arrived. After about 5,6 months I filed a dispute and they refunded the 10-20 bucks. Never bothered ordering another as the MI ni did the job... But surely 1 VROD can't be more expensive than two WS's?? And if one vrod is equally as potent then maybe worth the extra expense? That's how I'm looking at it. Plus experienced vape enthusiasts amongst us after years still hold FP in high regard with few equals?

I'm pretty sure my mind is made up, but I enjoy hearing/learning more n more.
