Im pretty sure it is in fact bits and bobs of herbs Carlos. I experienced the exact same problem with my screens sitting crooked and wonky in the bowl, no matter what I tried to keep it flat and snug to keep particles from falling into the bubbler.

I also expressed my preference for the XL bowl design where the dimples are lower so that the screen sits firmly and snug without any gaps at the edges.

And @Carlos8400 I can certainly understand how you found that to be a nuisance in the deeper bowl Sebastien sent you. The XL bowl is not too deep that it makes it too tricky, but I can tell that if it was just a little deeper, or narrower, it could be very tricky getting the screen in and out of that more tightly fixed posistion.

@Echo , what you want is some of the "Arizer basket screens". They fit upside down into the underneath of the bowl and keep all the herb particles out of your bubbler.

Hi, Thanks for the advice! It took 2 tries as I bent/creased a screen on first go but got a new one in there and its sitting much tighter to edges this time around, only seeing the usual brown flecks of material you'd expect to find in a bong when your stirring on a SS screen, though I think i'll still try out some of the arizer screens and some piece water as I really hate seeing my glass get dirty.

My problems with stuff falling through the screen has been well documented on this thread, Arizer EQ screens are a must for clean glass! @Hogni has the same technique as I do for putting the screen in - wooden spoon handle through he narrow end, my little finger through the other, clips in, easy!

Shame the TI isn't getting the same love as the FP, they are pretty equal vapes. I like using the TI more - easier to stir, and there's no carb cap which makes is much easier to operate. And I know it doesn't matter really, but aesthetically TI is way sexier. There's something very ugly about the FP, whereas the TI looks svelte, modern and minimalist. If I have a lady friend over, I hide the FP but the TI can stay on the coffee table :) Either way, the hype in the FP thread is fully justified, but I think it applies to the TI as well - truly next level vaping.

Re the controller - I'm happy with it as it is! Mine is left on the floor out of the way. The dial lets me really fine tune the temp. It does feel cheap but it does the job!

@biohacker did you ever actually get to try the TI out? I remember waiting to hear your critique but was sadly disappointed you sold it on!

Can't say better !!

Compared with the general enthusiasm for the FP, the idea of distribution of the product may be a good reason, because this forum is mainly frequented by Americans, and that the distribution of FP is not yet widespread in Europe ; for the TI it is the reverse, and I think that here we are mainly Europeans on this thread (which reminds me of a song of Arno), wich could explain why IT is a little more confidential : because it is less accessible.
I bought VapCaps also because of the massive craze for this product here. At that time it was still difficult to find them in Europe.

I'm waiting for my NV Showerhead which will come mid of Nov. Very eager to compare it with the Herborizer Ti. But guess the Showerhead at least does a better job on flowers maybe not the OG FP.

But you are right. It's a European thing so there are not so much people on FC who can test it. "Made in USA" seems to be a criterium of quality itself for a lot of people here. Why ever. Must be a patriotic thing.
But as I've said before. I would never sell my Herb Ti for some reasons even if the SH should perform much better:
It has an awesome perfomance.
The whole setup is pretty small and therefore first choice for travelling with a desk vape.
And it's design is so neat and classic it could have been made in the BAUHAUS factory and stand in every high designed flat.

I love it - regardless of it's called flaws (IMO)

BTW what's about the new bowls which were announced some weeks ago?

I could care less about the country of origin, I just want to buy products designed and built by someone that actually uses vaporizers. Asia's extreme stance on cannabis prohibition makes them the least qualified to really research and develop a great vaporizer in my opinion. My vaporizers from Germany, Canada, and USA tend to work a lot better than Chinese devices I've owned.

Some Info direct from Sebastien from Herborizer, may be interesting for some of you:

The micro dose bowl is not yet available, I have some details to settle before starting production and sale, it will be available next month

The Digital Ti is only a prototype for the moment, it is not yet in production, it will go on sale in 2018
The prototype works well, the injector power is 72w (preheating is 2mns) it will be equipped with a thermocouple probe to precisely control of the titanium diffuser, the digital controller drive the diffuser for a better thermal reactivity after each inhalation.

Have a nice day!

@Hogni and other Ti lovers- I visited my friend Dave last night who bought my Ti. He also has the XL since 2011. I have been looking forward to trying the ti again, especially since I have been doing my infection treatments recently and making a lot of progress.

The plan was to start on the XL, and move on to the Ti later on.
However for some bizarre reason the XL injector wasn't heating up properly. I was loading my exact usual recent loads into his XL as I do in mine.

It doesnt take a huge load to get very good clouds and effect with a properly working injector, like 0.2 to 0.3 usually, largely in the name of conservation and longevity of herb!
And I am used to very visible clouds with ease with my repaired XL injector on setting 7.

Last night at Dave's we just were barely getting any visible vapor no matter what. I was getting an effect, with very light exhales, but missing the party bigtime!:disgust:

And the herb was still pretty green by the point vapor had completely stopped. We were in a log cabin next to his house and he suspected it may be a problem with the power outlet. He usually only runs his XL indoors, whereas the Ti has taken up permanent residence in the log cabin.

So eventually we decided to switch to the Ti. The only problem is my friend does not know the meaning of the word "hygiene". He has NEVER cleaned the Ti yet and the bowl is caked BLACK at least an inch deep. You cant see into the bowl from the side and looking from the top is like a deep, dark dungeon! Gross!! :puke:

I know for a fact that this would not be some of your cup of teas, if you get my meaning.;)

Anyway I did my best to clean it out but purely because I will be allergic to the herb my friend puts through the Ti, so my primary concern was to reduce residue in the bowl which could be vaped up along with my own safe weed. Finally I was satisfied and we proceeded :science:

So I have to say I'm very much enjoyed the Herborizer Ti. By that point in the evening we just wanted to get stoned and didn't know if the Ti would be working either, so I was mightily relieved when I saw instant clouds and felt stoned for the first time in the evening from the first pull.

We ran a fair amount of herb through the Ti and I did get very stoned in a nice and comfortable way. It was very easy actually, no draw restriction at all really. I couldnt judge taste fairly as Dave's bowl and bubblers are so rank, but the vapor was extremely smooth.

We kept it on setting 5 the whole time. This is just what Dave has been using a standard. Loads were reasonable, about 0.3 or just over. There were a good number of hits per bowl, like 10 or 12 possibly, and the ABV was coming out pretty dark, but it never tasted unpleasant or harsh.

My XL abv never comes out nearly as dark as the Ti abv. The Ti just extracts very well and efficiently, with very smooth vapor. Allergy wise I actually tolerated it much better than I expected. This is a result of the progress I have made with my respiratory infections just recently.

It has certainly giving me hope that if I can continue to improve, then I have a much better chance of tolerating these super heavy hitting vaporizers in the future.
I definitely enjoyed hitting the Ti last night more than I enjoy using my XL. It is just like having a faster, more powerful car with cruise control, so much easier and faster to get where you are going.

This is the difference between the two models in one sense.

@biohacker , it isn't quite correct to say that I sold the Ti in favour of the XL. At the time the Ti just wasn't going to work for me and I needed to move on so I did. Saying that there are things about the XL which I actually prefer, but without any allergy problems I'm sure I would be using the Ti as my daily driver, but possibly keep the XL around for added versatility in social settings.

And did you also realise @biohacker that it would be SO much more expensive for us to buy the Ti again now. No discount at Lacentrale now, and the full package would cost me at least £400 now, compared to the £253 bargain I passed it onto Dave for!

@Hogni , I was thinking of you last night and I could see how you are getting so much satisfaction out of your Herbo Ti. Enjoy friend!

You could just buy the bowl and the injector/resistance. The Ti uses the same controller and power supply as the XL.

I was actually thinking about getting an XL, just to try the difference.
You are dead right Carlos. To be honest I preferred using the Ti with the XL sphere when I had it. And last night at Dave's house we used the Sphere only. I am major OCD about germs due to immune weakness, and I always take my own whip and mouthpiece (next time I'm taking my own bubbler too, plus the kitchen sink!).

They are 18 mm, and the Ti bubbler is for 14 mm whips.

So absolutely I dont need the bubbler kit at all, or the enail. Just wanted to point out the bargain we managed to get compared to now.

@Alexis I wouldn't bother with that bubbler again either, or the e-nail (which they probably wouldn't throw in again anyway) but come sale time, you know that Max and LCV will give the best deals!

Just wait until xmas and boxing sales @Alexis! By then that micro bowl will be out!
Good morning/ afternoon. I checked out the price and it would cost me about £200 to get the heater, glass housing, bowl, screens and orings direct from Sebastien, maybe the only place to buy it all seperate like this. Shipping is cheap actually compared to the flat €17/18 rate in the past.

I think that would be all needed, except for microdosing bowl of course.
I would see if my pal Dave would resell me the bubbler I gave him for £10 as a heater stand. He has since bought the Ti holder but no way am I paying €40 for it when the bubbler did a perfect job.

No actual plans to go this way yet. But it is suddenly a temptation, as my reaction to the vaporizer was significantly better the other night.

My sights have been set on one of the other 2, the GS or FP, with the GS all glass purity being best on paper at least. But the Ti has not been in the equation due to the difficulties I had with it.
Now that there is some positive indication, it brings another option, and a much cheaper one than the other 2, seeing as I dont have an enail etc.

It is also the fact that the microdose bowl is coming also that gives more appeal. I will wait and see what prices Vapefiend come up with for the FP.
No rush but you know what VAS is like! Today I start a 30 day vapor break anyway, so I have plenty of time now to plot and consider possibilities.

It does sound like the Digi Ti will have a seperate controller for sure, so I could always add that next year as well, I dont need to buy the controller if I get the Ti again.

We will see, a very good day to all, off to do steam now and shake off last night's vapor.

For anyone whos interested, I just placed an order for a new bowl / stand / whip, noticed there was an add a comment section for the products when checking tracking update and decided to try my luck and see if there was any new info about the micro-dose bowl or digi temp controller so asked for a ballpark ETA (this year or somewhen next etc) below is the reply, which came within 20 mins incredibly, despite the fact its gone 10pm in France right now :o

Bonjour,
Thanks for the compliment :-)
The micro-dose bowl will be available in November
Digital Ti will not be available until next year
Best regards
Sebastien

Hi guys,

Happy to find you all here again.

Regarding the screens I stopped using the arizer basket screens, because they got dirty too quickly and because. I still use the original one, even with hashish sessions on it, and even if I have several spares.
I am not a compulsive cleaner, I clean all my setup twice a month or every change of strain.
To limit the fall of particles in my glassware, I use my claisen, which keeps most of the small particles that can be found in the water, I then recover most of this deposit to make butter (but one day, if i find the time).. Problem fixed !!
A dropdown will also do the trick.. And my TI continues to hit as hard (maybe even too much sometimes).

Have a nice autumn y'all !!

@MrMonss Hey, I just picked up the bridge with a carb and was wondering what you would call the drop down bubbler/perc that it sits into? Tried searching DH Gate and a few vape sites and can't find anything like it without any stupid angles for the down pipe bit that connects to the main bubbler.

Hi @Ech0_ !!
Sorry English is not my native language, and i've not all truly understood..
In this picture you have, from top to bottom, the injector TI, the bowl, the claisen (or bridge), the FC MOd (rip off the Vapexhale Devastator). The FC Mod is composed of two water chambers and a removable mouthpiece.
Both are also available separately (you can find different styles of the smaller one, as hash catcher)
You can use a dropdown in the idea of keeping your bubbler clean longer.

Thanks, it was the FC MOD that I was after, all the others i found didn't seem to have enough clearance to fit or wrong angle, was using a mighty liquid pad till some arizer screens arrived to filter the particles from bowl but it kept getting clogged up, so wanted to add that to the kit to help but kind of clueless when it comes to glass, was always a joint only smoker before I switched.

Man, this thread is like the polar opposite of the FlowerPot thread! Will things change when the new microdose bowl is released next month? I have renewed interest in this vape now based on my convection experience with the FP, and having desktop plugins back in my life. I wonder when LCV will have another decent sale @Alexis ? No need for the bubbler kit (although I still miss my sphere from a decade ago!) so just the bowl+injector+controller kit.

Does anyone use the enail adapter for dabs?

Yes we could do with a smiley like those bushy type things that blow across the ground in those desolate old western movies, if you know what I mean.
I think part of it is definitely the thriving hubbub of the US driving the FP thread.
Also a lot more to the FP in terms of usgae style and variables.

A lot of FP users are longtime concentrate users and serious ganja heads too, who are fully invested in the world of cannabis. Not so much here in Europe, where users can be a little more "private".

Still it would be nicr to see some more action here for one of the best desktops in the world.

Glass of my stand broke! Have cleaned the glass part of my HerbTi stand. Therefore I've disassembled it pretty easy. After cleaning i wanted to assemble it. Lubricated the o-rings and tried to push the glass part back over the stem of the stainless base. Really tight! Had to push it with a litte force but being carefully not to break the glass. Somtime it flushed over the last o-ring and immediately chrashed with the steel before I could stop my forceed pushed - glass is breakable!

Just to inform you to be careful. Better don't disassemble this thing (Why did I do that??)
