@Alexis
If i was you this is what i would do first, before falling for this vape!
The material used is Titanium Grade 2 for the heater.
Call the person you deal with that helped you with your metal allergies.
Ask them about everything they know about Grade 2 Ti and how/if it will negatively affect your system in any way!
It is medical grade Ti so you should be safe but the S3 was too 'metallic" for your system.
Don't want you spending a lot of cash and being unhappy again!
Thanks man again for always being so helpful. Actually, I have an Omnivap which is Ti. I have no issues with the materials, nor with stainless steel as far as I know.
Im not at all worried about reacting to the titanium specifically. I am sure the Ti would be no more problem than the materials in my XL injector. It may even be better.
Its just this idea that Vriptech seem so adamant about that Im bearing in mind. The idea that an all glass air path may alter the polarity, or energetic state of the vapor, and make it more allergy friendly.
If this wasnt a factor, I would be solidly sold on the Ti, but the VHW may be less allergenic possibly. Indeed a number of people say it doesnt trigger their asthma like other vapes.
nooooooo...this is why
@lazylathe made a "plug" for the top of the XL....because there was SO much airflow, it negatively affected the vapour output/density. The plug just slows things down the right amount. Hoping the Ti doesn't require this, and it appears it should not.
You said it! Do it!
I have mentioned the Verdamper. There was barely any air restriction on that beast at all, compared to my Herborizer. It was so easy to pull large volumes of air through it very quickly. And it had a lot of power. You didnt need to draw hard and fast, but there was little restriction. And actually, the opening on the downpipe, from the bowl, was actually pretty narrow, but it didnt seem to restrict airflow upon inhalation.
Here is the downpipe:

This narrow inlet may well be what makes the Verdamper work so well. But the airflow though the heating element is much, much more open than the original herborizers, and the downpipe opening below the herbo bowl is a lot wider than the verdamper downpipe opening..
With the Ti, it looks like there is better airflow though the heating element itself than through the XL or basic injector. Maybe the original design is backward? Too restricted going throuh the injector, then too wide open into the sphere/tube, whether 14 or 18. The Verdamper downpipe can only be 6 to 8 mm (a memory guess), but the heating element could passage a bus!
But what you all say is very valid Im sure, and may be the key to the Verdamper's function.
Regardless, I dont see this being an issue at all with the Ti. If you are producing big clouds, you just dont need to draw fast. But I bet you could speed up with the Ti, on any rig, and still keep vapor high.
