Help please which one to get (solo, daisy, lotus, log vape ?)

Hey everyone.

Looking for some guidance, and this is the place. Thanks in advance.

My SSV is on loan to relatives hoping they can say fuck combustion.

My flowermate just doesn't give me the clouds I'm after. My supreme vaporizer spoiled me some I think in that regard, but I'm getting sick of the torch time it takes to get to the proper temps. The daisy appeals to me because it is much quicker and seems to be a potent cloud maker. The lotus is also an option.

I've never tried the solo before but obviously it is a forum fav and I kind of want to see what the fuss is about. My only concern is the tight draw and if it will make the clouds I'm after. I've been watching youtube vids and clouds look impressive when the solo is on seven. The portability is a added bonus. There would be times when the solo would def be more appropriate for me to use over the daisy or lotus.

I guess I'd prefer the batteries over butane in a perfect world but quick big medicating clouds comes first. I've read some solo users complain it takes them awhile to get where they want to be.

That spins my search off to log vapes like the e-nano.

All these great choices around the same price range sure is nice but for the indecisive it can also be a challenge.

If I am missing an option let me know. Any other advise sure is appreciated.

oh I'd prefer to keep it around or under 200 but there is some flexibility....

I paid around $330 for the SSV in 07 which seemed like a lot but it has been a trooper since day one and well worth it.

I like your little chart in your sig. If you had to add a line what would you say the poor man's version of the Sublimator is?

I forgot the Life saber would be an option too.

thank you for the suggestion. I did see their sale too. It's too bad they are on vacation until the 18th for people looking for xmas.

The issue I'd have with the underdog is the length of time it takes to get up to vape temps from a cold start. I wouldn't be letting it run 24/7.

That's why I thought of the e-nano which is supposedly quicker heat up times. I like that it is more wide open too.

I'm hoping someone with solo experience says my concerns aren't really an issue...but maybe that are

edit 2: I forgot to mention that I have WDZ (woodzie?) stuffed away in storage. I liked it but I thought my particular unitnever got hot enough with the standard plug in...So another option is a getting a VVPS for it.

I can have my UD up to temp in ten minutes. But is the draw resistance on the solo bad with a pvhes stem or enano stem?

I did love my solo.. Out for a loan, dunno if it's coming back.

The Solo should be fine though unless you need specifically high temps or want quicker sessions.

I didn't find draw resistance on the new solo a problem, there's hardly any in my opinion.
Also, there's an authorized seller on eBay selling them for $133.00 at the moment.

yes i have both the solo and the air. i have owned 3+ solo's.

I luv me some Solo. I got mine Oct 11th and it has become my daily driver. The heater reaches 7 quickly but most Solo users will allow it to sit a minute or so to heat the herb a bit. Makes for a better conditioned first draw.

As for charging it up - mine seems to take about an hour if I've drained it BUT if I were to get impatient I can just use it while its charging since it works off the charger as well as the batteries. I think I've only used it once while on the charger.

I can easily get 7 to 14 sessions out of a charge depending on how many folks I'm sharing with.

As for clouds - you saw the videos...no problem...she'll do them if you want them. I'm not much of a cloud chaser - it's the happy I'm chasing not the clouds but they are a by-product. Another plus is that its efficient on the herb use.

I see a Lotus version 1 for $100 on ebay. I thought the Daisy gave kind of light fluffy hits? Maybe I'm wrong about that. Best move would be to buy a Solo and a short Air stem.

The daisy thread has some big fans in it and in that thread people suggested it was a cloud maker. I'm a gadget person and to me it's an interesting design.

I was told that the newest version of the lotus is well worth the $20 or so due to the improvements.

Just my opinion but when it comes to cloud production one of those is not like the others than is the solo. I would go with a log vape personally if I was you but butane vapes are pretty awesome too.

Yeah man these things dont take ridiculous amounts of time to heat up anymore. Both of mine get up to temp in 10 minutes. I dont put mine up very often but I do turn them off during the day (VVPS hooked up to light switch on the wall FTW!) and they are up to temp in the time it takes me to get settled after getting home and grind up some bud.

The Ambrosia Maple Dogs are sweet looking.

Why not? Having them ready to go at any given time is a huge advantage for me. Unless you know what it is, nobody would doubt it is just an oil diffuser so no stealth concerns.

Mine is probably 20 min. heat up from cold. It's only been cold once or twice though. The clouds are amazing by themselves, but then I factor in the tiny amounts required to get them, and it blows my fucking mind.

You can get an SSV for around $180 (reclaimed from 7th Floor) or cheaper on ebay. Or a DBV. If I couldn't have/get a log, I'd personally go with the LSV, but I like water.
