Help on chinese pid setting

Hi,

I bought a Chinese pid from b2cvape for my zx head. It works fine but I like to temp step and it's not very comfy with just the up and down arrows. I tried to set directly the temperature with the set, side and up and down arrows but the setting doesn't stay. The seller says I don't need to use the set and side buttons as I could affect the internal settings.... anyone has some experience and tips with these kind of controller ?
