Help me pick my next vaporizer

A log has no less through-flow, while the 7th floor products utilize a venturi type of airflow system so the heat comes mixed with air which intensifies convection. For heavy hitters this can make a huge difference. Logs are more like a solo where you add more air after the heat source because there is less air flowing through it.

I use the NANO a lot!
It's a log vaporizer!
The LSV is good however to strong for me.

I'm just so torn between the two.

The nano seems like the weaker, easier to handle, hippy version of the flashy, extremely powerful, harder to handle, edgy looking LSV. lol

Reading the LSV and nano threads has taken up most of my time today. haha *reaches for crafty*

Just a guess on my part but probably just depends on how big of hit are you able to take? Power isnt really an issue for the enano since it can combust your herb just like the LSV. If you are able to take a hit that would cache a bowl bigger than the enano then this would come into play IMO. What the bigger bowl size of the LSV will do for you is allow less loading, this is why its better for larger groups vs the nano.

What about the (obvious) size differences ? The E-nano is definitely alot more conveinent in that sense. First time I used an LSV I was kind of laughing at the fact that I need to fully extend my arm to use the transfer wand.


The E-nano fits in my pocket if i take off the cord...

You have a point that the transfer wand is a long one. That makes we wonder how many folks still use it with regularity? It was one of the first things I changed with my factory kit. I needed a male to male adapter to get the vape to mount up to my bubbler . Fortunately one of those $3.00 china glass M2M jobs works well with many of the LSV load placement mods. Oh well it just means the transfer wand is a piece of glass that I won't break really soon.

True, the instructions are correct, however, many users feel optimum performance occurs after it has been heating for about 15 minutes.

Yeah I actually prefer much longer than that amount of time.

You can get a shorty, I agree the wand that comes with it is unusual and looks like a proctologist tool or something!

If you can't find a short lsv wand you could try a direct draw stem for the EV-2 from epicvape they're a much more reasonable length IMO

It's the more edgy vape of the two and I like the fact that it has many accessories available.

now to decide where to get it from.

-short wand
-WPA attachment (not sure on the size will find out today)

Nice! I reccomend the 14mm short wpa a reducer some extra .5" diameter screens and a kind ash cache!

Your welcome! A reducer will fit on your 14mm male pieces and turn them into 18mm male. I never used the baskets myself I didn't like the basket setup. Though I would like @Tweak new LSSV mod! Just like I do for my logs for small loads, just barely cover the screen and blast off!

FYI one of those pieces is a combustion bowl and one is a dome fer Errl.

Edit- That piece is not ideal for the LSV, but if a 18-14 or 18-18 f2f adapter doesn't work well a drop down could possibly work for ya or get a custom piece from @VaPeD&CoNfUsEd

Check the scratch and dent offers available at the manufactures site, from what I have gathered there are some savings to be had there. Also keep an eye on the classified adds here at FC there are some deals to be had there as well.

As to the WPA perhaps you could wait on that till you work your way through some other glass first. A 18mm M2M adapter may mate your LSV to your bubbler if not then a 18mm to 14mm M2M adapter is probably called for. With whatever M2M adapter you end up with you can also use the EQ basket. I would suggest multiple adapters as well, they take a beating so its nice to have backups. The links below are not to suggested vendors but for graphic representations.

Other accessories to consider, the Arizer elbows are also a possible option to try. Look around the discussions on elbow packs on those if you are considering a whip arrangement. Keck clips are also nice to keep things tight and unbroken.

When you get your LSV check the heater cover it is one of the warts that came with my unit. It was very uneven at the base and the intake opening was actually a bit too big for my individual tastes so if you need to do a return early is better than later.

Look around for a base, the LSV can get warm/hot and laying a cylinder attached cord on a table can make things real mobile real fast without a stable holder of some sort.

When you order those easy load bowels get a handful. You can adjust the load a bit by crushing them a bit but returning them to their original size is a bitch, easier to have fresh ones to work with. Currently there are some deals on ebay

Sorry, if my reply has gotten too long winded or unclear but one thing leads to another. The LSV is a great unit and is very adaptable but it requires a bit of study and some additional parts. I hope you enjoy it as much as most of its owners have.
