Hey! How do you like your hybrid? Would you consider a heavy hitter?

I’ve always wondered if the Hybrid was less efficient (but more lethal) than the Classic due to the conduction ring??

So jealous of u, as I just got a Plenty and a Classic! Plenty is a much heavy hitter than Classic, obviously for apparent reasons!!

What's your go to for the heavy milky hits? With everything being said, I'm leaning towards one of the NV setups. I really want to crush like 0.2g per bowl.

Currently it would be my Woodscents logs.
I don't have a flowerpot yet, but I want one.

the hybrid is a beast of a machine, that added conduction defiantly rings out everything from your product! the weird thing is it never chars herb, just golden brown avb. the only negative I see is on higher temps the vapor is very dry to me, but that's the same with classic and plenty, that's why I am looking into getting the magma industries obsidian bubbler designed specifically for the volcano, then it will be perfect.

Picked up a couple of ELBs for a diy project I tried. I'm sure the Cloud EVO is a beast to use, but I think using the ELBs has dissuaded me from buying an EVO as my heavy desktop. I don't like cleaning them or really loading them. Again, I'm sure the evo is the monster everyone claims, but the baskets aren't for me.

Still on the hunt, still considering all suggestions.

- FP VROD is at the top of the list currently.
- Volcano Hybrid has been considered, not sure how I feel about whips and bags, as I've never used one.
- verdamper isn't considered, looks way to cumbersome and fragile. Very interesting though. Massive bowl which looks cool.
- Plenty is interesting, but I'm not sure I'd like a long session vape. Coming from sticky bricks, I want something fast.
- supreme v6 is considered, although I've heard it has restricted draw.
- Elev8r is still on the list. I'd be more interested in running it with a 16mm coil than a big torch, although the torch would be faster.

My favorite big hitter is a Da Buddha with a LSV heater cover, a straight third party stem there are a few small but less visible adjustments to how screens are formed and placed etc. However what makes it work was getting the draw worked out. Good Luck

I’ll put it this way. I’ve been craving a good plenty session and I treated myself to one since the local hockey team is on tv lol

The plenty’s effects helped me kick nicotine. It’s just so strong.

I’m a newbie to this but after a heavy plenty session I can feel it the next day haha it feels like smoking. Might be the concentrate pad. I packed about .3 fresh with .5 abv (with life in it) and some hippie dust.

It’s not cloudy at all it’s almost like a blue “smoke” like the vapor isn’t cloudy it’s blue and hazy

I have a classic but it just can’t get me to where the plenty gets me. If there’s something else that can hit harder than a volcano I want to know!

That’s why I’m following this thread haha. I think .3 on 8 on volcano hits prettttty hard!!!

what about evo, lsv, super surfer, sub?

I had a Volcano and a Buddha that i sold, I have a Plenty and a Flowerpot Showerhead. Of all those vapes I wouldn´t consider the Volcano or the Plenty real heavy hitters. They have big ass bowls and use a lot of green matter so they can knock you out but they are extremely inefficient. The same 1 gram that would last me an evening with the volcano can last me 3 days with the flowerpot because it extracts full spectrum and vapor is much denser.

You’re right. The plenty is kind of annoying at times. But I still love it for those reasons. The plenty is literally a niche vape. I really like it compared to the other desktops I’ve tried/considered...

Being on this forum and quitting my combustion habit has opened my eyes to a lot I didn’t know about.

some people prefer smoother vapes over potent vapes, I can think of arizer having smooth pulls but having owned an air and an eq I found them horribly “inefficient.” With the EQ I needed multiple elbow packs. At least four elbow packs, and even then that wasn’t really enjoyable. Smooth though!

Some people prefer heavy hitters. Is the volcano a heavy hitter? I guess not. It’s got a great clear headed vibe to it. It’s just chill. I really like it. It’s strong and you get giggly. If you have some awesome meds you’ll get some crazy bags though!!

Which leads me to defending the Plenty! I can definitely see why people are hesitant or just straight up dislike it - it’s harsh, hazey, unruly, inefficient, awkward, cumbersome, ‘interesting’ looking, and the puffs are basically smoking. It’s a lot of the things the volcano isn’t. The volcano is efficient, it’s clear headed, and it’s cloudy...it’s just really pleasant and giggly lol

I have had some very early success with puffing some volcano bags until it’s golden brown. I’ll take that golden brown abv and save it for a plenty sesh.

When I have enough volcano abv, (.5/.6/.7) I throw it in the plenty with about .4 fresh - I get about twenty minutes...

I really like the effects! soooo strong. It’s really a flower hookah.

I know @nonamekevin says, he’s not into sucking on a vape for twenty minutes. that’s totally up to you, I respect everyones decision as their prerogative. What works for you may not work for me. but the plenty...it’s basically like a hookah of flower or a volcano with a metal whip lol

It’s not for everyone, and I don’t mean that it’s too strong for some or blah blah...or that it uses too much flower...or that I’m ignoring the efficiency issues. You can put abv in there instead of fresh flower...

it’s a vape that’s similar to smoking/hookah, with a wide(!) chamber that allows for some deep pulls, that works well with abv or concentrate pad

I’ll be honest - my bias towards plenty is the help from kicking nicotine...alongside my fierce.

I like the Arizer Extreme Q. My only other experience i had was with herborizer XL bong vaporizer.
Extreme Q hits me harder. i have used both the Extreme Q and the herborizer XL extensively.
The herborizer is r.i.p. that glass is just very easy to break and of bad quality.

With the extreme Q the glass pieces are more solid. nothing broke yet (and i have accidently dropped it and accidently banged the glass mouthpiece against the table numorous times), it is still working fine. and you really get blazed with the extreme q, also because you can load it with 0.5 gram of fairly coarse grinded herb in the bowl. Extreme Q will get you vaked for 6 hours.

So heavy hitter for me is definately an extreme Q. It helps of course if your herbs are at the right humidity and are of high quality.

I've followed this thread from the beginning and while I wait for everyone to wake this Christmas Morning, Merry Christmas!!, I thought I'd chime in. One thing yet to be mentioned is the ritual of using the vape. How do you load it, does it need to preheat, is it clumsy or is there a rhythm to using it, how does the reloading process go and what's it like to clean it.

The FlowerPot checks all these boxes for me and allows the most flexibility. I don't aspire to crushing 0.2g all at once, nor do I even load that much at a time, but that is the beauty of this vape; you may consume however you want and there are lots of variables to play with. You can change material, amount of material, grind, draw speed, draw duration and frequency, water piece, whether your water piece is dry or not, add an ash catcher, capped bowl or not and temperature. I know lots of FP users run around 600 F with long draws cashing large bowls, but I prefer short draws at much higher temps, 747 F, for more full spectrum and quick extraction magic. I've tried lowering my temps and extending my draw or even using the carb cap.. but I always end back up at 747 F with a single NewVape scoop on a double weave screen (Both are highly recommended options). It may take me 2-4 short draws to cash a bowl, but given the ritual is so enjoyable and drawing longer would cause combustion I just keep hitting it and its amazing to see how far 0.1g goes... not to mention the effects.

You'll not have any regrets getting a FlowerPot, in fact I went so far as to get two PIDs, two coils and I always have more than one glass piece for redundancy. I also recommend the double weave screens, NewVape scoop, NewVape fine grinder (This vape loves a fine grind) and a second bowl (I use one bowl for Sativa dominant and the other for Indica dominant strains).

I wound up getting an elev8r. Used it with a propane torch for about a week before I modded a 16mm coil to fit the heater. It's a sledge hammer of a vape. $99 for the elev8r kit from sneaky Pete, $74 for the enail and 16mm coil from the dabbing specialists. $173 for a setup that has annihilated me, more than once.

How close does the coil get to the air intake? Is the coil a loose or tight fit? Is the original stand still used?

You can see the air intake is above the coil, maybe by 1/4in or more. The coil was loose, but I was able to kind of "wedge" the heater into the coil in a way that it won't move. I don't currently have a good stand for the setup. I was putting the heater/coil in a glass ashtray, but the thermal shock from putting a hot coil into a room temp ashtray cracked it. So I'm looking for something I can place a hot coil in for in between hits.

Yea, you for sure feel the heat from the coil, but I think this is primarily because of the small glass piece. I think this would shine on a 12" beaker.

Your rig looks a bit like you could burn yourself. Also it is hard to lift the bowl from the bong, because its hot.
I have had the herborizer XL, which has a similar design. My herborizer is now r.i.p. because i dropped some hot glass parts a few times to many.
