Anyone else who owned both a Lil Bud or one of the Sticky Bricks and a Vapcap that can chime in?
For the record, I have a Tera and it's great. I have a V3 and the first couple bowls had a plastic taste but it went away quickly (2-3 bowls max), don't let that keep you away. My only complaint is the battery life because I vape 2-3 bowls a day and have no spares. I thought I'd be out and about more with it but that's not the case so I'll be selling it pretty soon. The biggest reason is that once the battery life is almost depleted, showing about 10% left, it won't let you heat up the unit anymore. And plugging it in at that point still won't let you use the unit, it has to fill up to like 50% battery life before you can use it once it's at that "depleted" state. It's annoying as all hell.
Getting a NonaVong XLS tomorrow, I am psyched, but reading that Lil Bud hits better has me disappointed
Definitely not interested in any more battery powered units, Lil Bud included. But I was under the impression that VapCap can stand with the best of them in terms of heavy hitting.
But definitely, if you're ok with a battery powered portable, Tera *cannot!* disappoint , once you have the technique down (don't think it's different than any other vapes, but like you probably are aware, different vapes require different pull times and pull strengths to get the thickest vapor). I get very very powerful vapor if I pull slowly for 10-15 seconds.
First pull of a heated Tera will always be "weak" because it's convection and needs to heat up the herb with a pull or two first. But second and definitely third pull onwards will be primed and ideal. Works amazing both through water and through the black swivel mouthpiece (the included glass mouthpiece is useless, doesn't give better flavor and seems a lot harder to get decent vapor with it, plus it feels like you're giving someone a BJ, and I end up drooling into it. I guess I'm just stupid with it)
