Heavy hitter (portable)

Curious as to what others think is a heave fast hitter.
I like quick and easy and not butane and has to be stealthy.
Love my vapcaps but sometimes i need a bigger bowl in a hurry.
The pax3 is working out well for me at the moment. The fury bowl was too small for me.
Love experiments.:science:

Ghost MV1 absolutely rips - can set it to max temp and get HUGE hits. On demand convection. Can quickly kill a bowl in a few hits and is electronic and relatively stealthy - id expect the stealth aspect to inprove if they update the firmware to dim the LEDs. Great flavor.

Only downfall for me is the smallish crucibles...i have high tolerance. But the effects of this thing makes a little herb go a long way.

Splinter (maybe with a short wooden glass-lined tube?) or Lil Bud. I wish they were both more portable and didn't require stirring. I use both at home so I tend to make them look really unportable with a three cell mod and a 4" stem.

A Splinter V1 on a small dna mod like an hcigar VT75D, lost vape Mirage (if you can find one), or Paranormal would be the fastest and most compact heavy hitter I could recommend. Granted it's not all that portable with the stock short glass stem and these 510 devices are all kinda goofy once you stack the mod, vape, and stem.

The Lil Bud is a close second since the hits get less massive as the battery drains and being unregulated there's a bit more finesse involved. I think I read some folks are using dosing capsules in the end of the wooden roasting tube now, so maybe that makes it less inconvenient for vaping out.

You might also check out the Imp from mistvape or the Dreamwood Glow. I haven't used either of these myself. The Splinter and LB both produce enormous clouds and flavorful vapor while extracting quickly when you want to.

I get great hits from my ArGo. You definitely need to wait for it to heat up but once it's there...

I run at 420F on most of my vapes. I don't have an Air but I have an OG Solo. The Solo is a beefier hit than the ArGo, but not by a lot.

The ArGo is a little harder hitting than the Fury2 but the replaceable batteries and extra stems that store in that cute little case. I think the entire ArGo package is a winner.

I will say that it seems like the bowl lasts forever so, whomever above said the Air was 'slow', this might be what you were talking about. I pack them pretty tight but I'll bet I get 15 to 20 hits off the ArGo standard stem/bowl. The Fury2 is about half that.

Also, the programmable firmware on the ArGo kills the Fury2. The Fury2 times out too fast for me (although, I plan to dump the Fury2 firmware and I make it so I can make the few changes I want to so that's not really a problem for me).

The ArGo is totally stealth. I am in a non-legal state. I play drums on stage in front of crowds of people. I use the ArGo while I'm playing and almost no one ever notices. The Fury2 is also very stealthy.

Not sure what else I can say. I am thrilled with my ArGo.

That's awesome that your argo qualifies as a heavy hitter for your use. I don't mean any offense and I concede that the Fury 2 and Argo are truly more portable: you might consider trying a Splinter V1 at some point. Certainly not the most convenient and wouldn't replace your pocket portables for stage use. I just think you'd be impressed by the huge, dense clouds compared to session portables like yours. I mean unless you have a Flowerpot or Supreme at home already.

I don't think it's an exaggeration to say I'd have to hit my session vapes twice as much for them to keep up with a Splinter. And yeah, I'm sure that's what @invertedisdead means by slow. The Fury 2 is amazing and just right for a skinny jeans pocket. I'd need a wpa and a bubbler to get anything like a single on demand hit from a Splinter though.

Actually, now that the firmware update promises to speed up extraction the OP might consider a Fierce. It's still viable to carry in your pocket and when you're not out and about you can swap the plastic mouthpiece for the bent stem. We should know in a week how the updated Fierce performs. I already much prefer the draw resistance to Arizer portables.

I had 3 Splinters. I sold all 3. I love my iHeat. A better question from the OP might be 'which portables suck'. Quite frankly, I have owned a dozen portables and I would say they were all darn good vapes. I think it comes down to what a particular user likes. That's why I bought 50 vapes in 7 months and tried them all. LOL Sold the ones I didn't like and kept the ones I did like.

In the morning, first thing, I like a mouth pull. I use my Fury first. Then, I move to the Solo. The E-Nano is on my bench for bong hits. The Motar provide dab relief and a 710 coil is on the way.

I get way better hits from my Solo than I do the Splinters or the iHeat. However, both the Splint and Heat are better through water.

Then, there is the question, is a more dense hit a better hit. Sometimes flavor chasing is nice.

Lots of options with vaping. That's for sure.

That's wild that you've experienced an og Solo outperforming a Splinter, especially in the context of a heavy hitter thread.

Props to you for being thorough and finding the vapes that work best for you. I'm guessing you didn't have your Splinters dialed in though. I was slow to appreciate mine too because, much like the Tubo X, I had to get around to tinkering with different mods, firmware, profiles, and settings. And of course the non-trivial setup is a drawback to 510 devices like those.

The only Arizer device I've owned is a Solo II and the draw resistance alone disqualifies it from any heavy hitter discussion.

@lookhigh , if you been watching, another vote for LB here. You want ;

Quick : well its the fattest from cold to vapor along with the 510 cartridges.
Easy : one button only, that easy.
Durable : yeah man, LB is tough and reliable with stand up customer service should anything fail.

Not to mention, it's hand crafted by @Bravesst . Send him a PM or inquire from the website , or ask questions if any in the thread here

Until about a month and half ago I'd say Tubo or Splinter. Tubo if you like to push a button and have it drive for you (cruise), splinter if like to be the driver.
Those are still top recommends for portable heavy hitters from me. Lovely devices. Paired up with an @davesmith bent glass stem and they are seriously hard to beat.

In December I bought a Tera. It was more of an impulse buy because it was so cheap ($149). I just wanted to try it and figured I'd pass it along to a friend.

I like this thing a lot! It is staying with me. Hits hard, convectiony, replaceable batteries, feels good in the hand. I use it with a j hook, water scepter, or Ed's long wood stem.
I have owned and tried many of the black box vapes. I like this one better than Fury 2, Fierce, and Ghost. I own a Mighty. It is a great portable vaporizer. I don't plan to let it go but I also haven't charged it in a month. Tera hits harder, warms up faster, when it dies I have plenty of batteries on hand to swap out. I like to do multiple bowls during a sesh or take this with me to my weekly poker game. So far this has held up.

I tried the tera and had to be returned because of ofgassing problems, so i lost thrust in the company. Nice unit otherwise could be used as a weapon.

@stark1 Not sure what that is? Concentrates are not available here.

I ready to have a SOLO session after lunch this first day of the week!
Many think I am missing out on the latest greatest?

The “M” is basic however gets the job done!
I have many plug-in’s?
Love all of them really.
Their all different however can’t tell you what is the best because they provide flavor and effect?
I have some that put me in a self-induced COMA.
Depending on the need will determine what is used.
That is why some of us have collectively reason to vape!

Other’s mostly for FLAVOR however I reach a level of NIRVANA anyway?

CANNABIS is my motivation.

VAPORIZING is a way to consume this plant !
PAPER JOINTS hate me so vaping keep’s me in the game!

No mention of Milaana? The 18mm stem drills . I'm not always up for drilling so I use it mostly with a 14mm stem (less of a vapor heat/mass signature, easier on the lungs). Two or three individual on demand hits, disbursed as needed or desired by the user. If I leave the house without it in my pocket, it's in my bag.
