I Nothing more sad than seeing my F2 in its box ready to be sent in for service.
One thing, at least you know you will be looked after with your RMA, as for a portable the Fierce would sit well in any collection and worth consideration...lots of good choices around.
I have the utmost confidence that HR will handle this in a 5-Star manner, compared to another company which I won’t mention. One thing, at least you know you will be looked after with your RMA, as for a portable the Fierce would sit well in any collection and worth consideration...lots of good choices around.
My Snap is my backup however the MP won’t stay on very well and slightly better than the Fury 2. My Hopper was my backup but that’s been in RMA since September (go figure). Indeed, I’m in a pickle and a vape behind where I should be. Both of these points are the sad part and I’m not upholding my vape badge very well. I’ll get there. Maybe I use my vapes too much? Indeed I’m still considering the Fierce - and I’ll decide in a day or two. To be continued...tough it out.
Hey, not having a backup vape when your F2 goes to the shop......that's sadder?

Yes, it's been in RMA since September '19 and NO it's not a record. Nor do I care to own it however with my aforementioned luck and with the Hopper RMA, which was no fault of my own and suffered from two issues (heater and would not turn on which was the obvious final straw) contention is not out of the question. You mean September of last year, like 8 months ago? Hardly a record, not even in contention yet? Some warranties should include a short form will......in case you die before they decide to send it back?
Hey, Solo I is an excellent vape (essentially zero problems reported), and can be had for very attractive prices these days. This is far from the best price in town (although a first class dealer, strong supporter of these Forums):

A Solo in reserve is peace of mind indeed.

Not sure about UK availability & pricing but I love my Furies. Dosing capsules aren’t imperative but they are great for on-the-go and different strains. I always have a few filled up, just in case but mostly use without them. Good luck!So I have found the Fury 2 for £99 and a code for £10 off at the Herbalizestore.co.uk does this look like the best deal I'm going to get over in the UK?
Edit: Also, are the dosing caps a 'must have'?
I have two Furies too - a new F2 arriving tomorrow to replace the first one which was lightly used and purchased from HR, and Snap (Fury clone). However the Snap MP doesn’t always stay on and I bought the POTV accessory attachment thinking it might fit on the Snap but does not (it fit the first F2 until it developed the same MP issue, on top of a significant power drain after 50% - hence the RMA in which HR said a new one would be sent to me). I couldn’t think of anything better to have two of. Really.I almost got a Fierce but bought a spare Fury2 instead... now I will have two close to new Fury2 vapes Yay! bought a few extra WPA for it and will be good for a while... the Fierce clicks every button except for the huge bowl... Fierce is on the wish list of future vapes no doubt
my only issue with Fury2 is Batt life... now with two fury vapes that should not ever be an issue. having a clean air path for the heated air and all glass vapor path for vapor is key with the fury and glass attachments.. using Fury2 exclusively now I feel like a vapor Snob turning up my nose to any plastic or other materials that the vapor goes through... unclean !!! those vapes need to clean up their act LOLI have two Furies too - a new F2 arriving tomorrow to replace the first one which was lightly used and purchased from HR, and Snap (Fury clone). I’ve also been mulling a Fierce - for quite some time even before its launch. Bigger chamber doesn’t bother me as there are ways to mitigate this and use less in it. The magnetic mechanism is likely better than the Fury mouthpiece method which I’ve had issues with but I’ll stand pat with my dual Furies for now. You can’t beat their size and performance especially for solo use. Another vape is not out of the question however it may be something other than HR for me, just to try something different.
TGIF & happy holiday weekend to all.
All you need now is this;a spare Fury2 instead.
I’m not exactly sure what you mean by curing, but the toaster oven seems extreme. For the Fury 1 which is the most up to date procedure for curing the silicone on a brand new unit?
I was thinking to put the 3 silicone rings in toaster oven on a metal tray at 400F for 30 minutes?
Has anyone tried using a stove-top? I mean placing the 3 rings in a glass cup and then put that inside a pot with an inch of water and steam it on low for 30 minutes?
Or should I just burn some old abv in the chamber at highest vape temperature and blow with my mouth into the intake hole located at the bottom of the vape?
