It is one of the better tasting vapes to me.
Perhaps you got an early release unit before all parts materials were decided upon.
I have to agree about something being wrong.
I have handed this unit brand new to a dozen patients that had owned other vapes before (in other words some were very experienced patients)...
and this is a foreign issue to me.
I would like to remind that the native mouthpiece is the only plastic part, but it also is lined with glass.
I hope it is sorted out in short order.

I've a suggestion on supporting our @Vitolo for your consideration. First a bit of background?
Having missed the opportunity to get in on the big "Healthy Rips will match a group buy of F2s for Vitolo" deal earlier this year (not sure how I could have missed it......), I have since followed up by buying my own F2 and asked them to send it to him instead for his good work. They not only gladly complied but matched it themselves. Vitolo's preferred configuration is the basic unit (his customer's have no need/use for fancy stems etc) but with a set of dosing capsules as well. The latter being most useful for those patients with Care Givers supporting them (who can load a days supply ahead of time). HR doesn't list this package, but they told me to order the simple package (with grinder or bubbler included) and use the comment sections to ask they substitute the capsules and send it to Vitolo. They have continued to match my order! Double benefit for 'the Sage of the High Desert'! As you know he passes them on to our fellows who desperately need the support facing truly life changing challenges.
This is, of course, a purely voluntary effort from the Healthy Rips Team. No guarantee how long they will make this generous matching contribution. But for now they continue to support our Vitolo.......as much as the rest of us put together when you think of it? I encourage you to think seriously about it. Today, for $139 you can get two much needed F2s with capsules sent to the man who will see they get to those who desperately need hope and support from anywhere. They'll never know you, of course, but that's not the point. And our friends at HR will match it!
Again, no guarantee the policy will stay in effect, but for now you can double your support of a truly noble effort in a place far away but yet near to heart? Just order the base package and put something like 'Please substitute dosing capsules and send to Vitolo' in the comments box and feel good about yourself for days to come. Recommended for your consideration.

Hey. Haven't been on this thread in quite awhile.
Curious if cleaning the mouthpiece is still the same as it was a year or so ago? ie no soaking in ISO. Not sure if any of the materials have changed to keep it a little less smelly. OCD vape cleaner!

@felon167inc have you used the evo elbs in a evo or a cf/cfx? I have tried the flowermate and crafty capsules and agree they are more restrictive but HRs design is akin to the elbs...where its a mesh screen vs a metal container w air holes...i have not personally tried HRs dosing caps yet...but just looking at the design im expecting a simialr experience to my cfx w elbs...just have to ramp up the temp 10 degrees for the first 2 rips then go back down to desired temp
I used the ELB baskets in my CF/x and like Troy at 420vapezone I ended up only using the top cap screen in the end as I was getting less vapor using a basket, it was especially noticeable on a bong, same as the Plenty the only reason I would recommend dosing caps is for convenience.

Sure wash it. In a detergent, not a solvent like ISO. I started out using PBW in a small jar, but find the dishwasher does a great job with almost no effort. I remove the blue gasket with it's screen for better flow, then put both it and the MP (big end up) in the silverware tray in the washer. Hot detergent laden water washes the junk away just like with pots and pans. Then rinsed and dries it for you. All for free?
Solvents like ISO attack plastics sometimes. A brief wipe down is fine but long soaks by compulsive types are not recommended. And solvents don't really clean absolutely (what happens to the contamination left in the rinse as the solvent evaporates off?). A detergent isolates them and rinses them down the drain.
Your call, but I recommend the dishwasher if you have access to one. Otherwise the same detergent in a jar (or better still PBW) will do the job easily and safely.......and a lot cheaper.

Yup, I have one. I like it very much. For the extra 5 bucks I think it was a good purchase.
However I can't give you a comparison to the standard glass stem because I never used one.

Time for a Fury 2, woo-hoo!
Hi all! I got a fury 2 today, i charged it for two hours and i used it, first i cleaned the unit, i used it at max temp 221c and i got a gold avb. I have and use more vaporizers: vapman,vaponic,vapcap and lotus. I can get a dark brown avb but not in the fury, after a few rips i dont get more vapor and my herb is gold, not brown or dark brown. I can put that herb in my vapman or vapcap or any other or my vaporizers an get a few more rips and a dark avb without combustion. Is that normal or my unit is not working well?

Excellent observation......again.
I'd also like to point out that this is a session vape, unlike the others. Not only is the temperature potential higher with them (not being regulated) but the nature of use is different. F2 is basically a conduction deal, meaning it needs time for the heat to 'seep into the load'. Try a full minute wait once it's hot, and a minute between hits (meaning you'll be restarting it often at first) to get a handle on this.
With enough time, 400F (much below where you are) is quite capable of turning the AVB very very dark. Black even.
F2 just extracts differently. Explore other techniques?
I hope you get to understand and use it soon, it's a great unit for sure.

Welcome to FC, you’ve got lots of knowledgeable respected (not like me) members at your service. It’s a wonderful and friendly place and your English skills are just fine sir! Take your shoes off, you’re home.
At home I like a loose pack on max temp in a WPA through a bong, 3-4 rips gets ABV nice and dark and is spent inside the 4 min timer. When out and about I like a slightly tamped load in the bowl with the standard mouthpiece and I temp step from 190 to max, I usually get 2x 4 min sessions this way and the AVB is never quite as dark as with the WPA but is still fairly dark.

Me too, when I want it. I think it's safe to say that all the happy owners around here are able to extract as they want, that is get it as dark as they wish, or folks would be complaining?
F2 seems a very solid unit, with a growing (and IMO well earned) following. Recommended.
