Hate the taste, smell and even thought of combustion. Anyone else?

I want to get a vapman incase of a power outage...ive only been combustion free for a few months but I do not want to go back to it...turning all my friends onto it too...homie came over with some fire OG kush n i made him vape it in the EQ. now hes ab to buy a solo after he tries mine.

I like opening peoples eyes to the world of vaping almost as much as I like vaping! Haha

Don't forget to consider the Lotus! Especially if you want to pair it with water. The Lotus is my Apocalypse vape.

Congrats on your quest to convert your friends. I've been less successful in converting all of my friends. My best friend in particular is a combustion holdout - he refuses to hit my vape when he comes over - not because he thinks it doesn't work, but because my Nano is TOO powerful for him!

Let me chime in here. I bought my Vapman as a back up vape, and now it's my go to vape. It is also the first vape that converted my friends, even the most sceptical of them.

Damn, after one day??? Sounds like you were BORN TO VAPE!

I too was a combuster for 10 years. I had a shitty knockoff box whip vape (Vapebros style) I bought out of curiosity from my LHS about 5 years ago, but that thing never convinced me vaporizing was worth it (I was a newbie, no other vaporists around to explain or teach me)

Then I bought a Davinci Ascent - oooo my god, the taste. Still one of the best tasting vaporizers I own, but none the less. I spent a week sipping away on that thing, just in love with the pure aromatic perfume flavor I was tasting in the 330F to 340F range!

Then one day when the battery was dead I decided to join my wife's outside for a smoke with my classic heady combustion bubbler......... I had a moment just like yours. The taste of combustion is hideous. I'm really embarrassed to say it around my friends who still combust, but I really can't stand it anymore.

Funny your timing for this post - I bought my friend a glass bubbler last week for his birthday - he used it to combust THREE times since then. Tonight he brought it over for a vape session, I couldn't use it - the combustion taste in his glass ruined the entire session for me!

The health benfits of vaporizing are simply an added bonus for me, the pleasure of taking MASSIVE flavorful rips from my heavy hitting Log vaporizer (e-nano) takes me to a medicated level I never thought possible

Ratchett that's so funny you say that, the exact same thing happened to me. I bought what I think was a fake vape bros box and the damn thing really sucked to the point that I gave up quickly and went back to combustion. Couple of years later I bought a fake atmos raw pen on eBay, not knowing any better and that sucked also.

A couple of weeks ago I decided that I really want to try this alternate once agian to combusting, and came here looking for advice. I ended up buying a Indica, took my first pull, and the world changed right at that point. Now I won't go back to combusting, and I'm waiting on vape number 4 to arrive from Puffitup.

Vaping and this place has become a life changer, I'm so glad I found this place and made the switch. This is the greatest, friendliest and most educational forum I have ever visited, and although I'm new and still learning, I'm so glad I made the switch.

Lol, indeed. I didn't really reconsider vaporizers until my friend and I went to lunch on a work day at a nearby pub. Out in the car he pulls out his PAX and showed me how it worked. The taste was pretty bad (he was a PAX newbie, always kept it at one temperature).

But that tiny vape blew my mind - technology had reached that point. So I started my quest for a portable vape (which ultimately led me to this site)

I find vapor to be so much nicer than smoke, which is gross, but I don't go around acting like I am doing anything better than weed smokers. Vaporizer users treat weed smkoers like weed smokers sometimes treat alcohol drinkers, and both acts of looking down on someone for how they choose to get their buzz, are stupid.

because of location and volume of medical use --- I started vaping flower with volcano over 10 years ago and never went back --- just couldn't stand the after smell of combustion -- then 3 years ago I started using concentrates and now I have not even had flowers in 2 ! Its so much better in so many ways ! peace all

December 31 it will be 2 years of being combustion free. What a breath of fresh air vaporizing is compared to combustion. We actually can smell and taste things again. Being able to medicate and not have to worry about the horrible stench to alert others of your business, that's a plus.

I am very enthusiastic and compassionate about vaporizing and want others to know the joys. Whether it be talking about it at the local head shops or at the dispensary while picking up my meds. I let them know smoking is old school vaping is the only way to truly enjoy the taste of the different cannabis varieties.

If you are new to using a vaporizer make sure you have a faithful backup. You don't want to drift back into old habits that are unhealthy. I not only love using a vaporizer but it's fun to collect and learn about different vaporizers and different techniques of using our fav herb.

I stumbled across FC while doing research and eavesdropped for awhile before becoming a member. I really appreciate all the support and knowledge I've gotten here along this journey. Thanks to all and wishing everyone a wonderful holiday season.

I've been vaping for about 5 months now...I started when my bong was cracked and broken one fateful night and I went out looking for a new regular piece, and decided I would try one of those godawful ego-vhit pens... It was a total POS in retrospect but at the time it blew my mind. It was so discreet, so flavorful, and so smooth compared to smoking. I thought oh this is great but I could never give up cigarettes.... then I tried an e-cig about a month later and I am 99% combustion free. Since that time I have come to find I as well have the "combustion aversion" syndrome others speak of. I used to LOVE the taste of a fresh bowl of greens, now I wouldn't do it unless there was literally no other choice. It tastes fowl and smells just as bad The flavors out of some properly vaped concentrate to a bongbowl is like comparing a Geo Metro to a Rolls Royce.

Smoking has a nice taste sometimes, you guys really are grossed out by it? Maybe its different because I started doing both around the same time? I mean first time I smoked I got a vape 4 weeks later....haha.

I vape 90% of the time for health reasons.

Pipes and cigars are cool because it's more for the flavor, no inhalation.
So their second-hand smoke isn't as harmful as cigs.
And cuban cigars are legal now

I prefer vaping and I have vaped pretty much exclusively for a few years but I make some exceptions. If I have some really good quality bubble hash I enjoy hitting it with a flame in a pipe once in a while. The flavor brings back the joys of the early seventies when we used to get smuggled Afghan and Nepalese hash. Once in a while when I am traveling and bringing a vape is inconvenient, I have been known to light up a bone. It's better than nothing. I get chronic bronchitis if I do much smoking so basically I stick to the trusty Rockzap.
