JUst got back from Colorado 2 weeks ago. Yes, the potency of the edibles is too high. 2 small jelly berries were sufficient to have music completely usurp the interior of my skull. And I had the misfortune of under-guesstimating how many actual 10 mg segments were in that melted lump I decided to down after we got out of Nebraska (I lost all sensation of having a body, becoming pure awareness in a 360 degree sphere). Now for ME, someone who is 55 years old, has experienced acid, speed, coke, mushrooms, etc, a panic attack can be managed. I can simply tell myself this is a bad trip and that in one to several hours it'll be over. But for a newbie, for a child, this could be a traumatizing event. They can't recognize the markers, nor know that it will really be over soon. They could very well end up in the ER. So I'm equivocal about the edibles. I don't think they'll really hurt anybody, but the subjective experience of a panic attack is extremely frightening. I wouldn't want to see children consuming these (and it would be really easy to mix up those berry gummies with regular berry gummies), or even adults who haven't been educated as to how to use them.
