Hmmmmm... I can't think of any place in particular to post this tale, and since it ended Halloween... Well, this is as good a place as any!
So after taking wife + kids out trick or treating, we went out for a quick bite to eat. Living where we do, the trick or treating goes a bit later than other places, so it was about 10:15pm... After I placed the order, was headed back the table when I hear the wife say pretty loudly..."aw, it broke!". It was her iPhone 6. Screen shattered pretty completely... we got the insurance when we obtained the phone, so I wasn't too phased by it.
Next day fast forward to the iPhone store. First off, have never seen such a busy store in my life! There must have been 15 long tables set up with iPads, iPods, iPhones, and (i)Macs... all loaded with people busy doing gosh knows what?
We went straight back to the counter, past a hella-long line to find out that they were overbooked for the day on repairs and that hella long line was the repairs-for-the-day line. Damn! Anyhow, after making an appointment, we walked out past the line of people squinting trying to use shattered screen phones and kids holding phones that looked like they initiated the self-destruct sequence.
Here's where the story gets good... So you know me, a rap for everything... always ready to drop a few lyrics to generate a smile or two... AND... wifey is always talking about how careful she is about her phones. So I decided to have a little fun... While we walked out of the store, at an purposefully slow step, I decided to throw down a few lyrics (that those in line could hear as well)... and yes, I followed the well-known tune!)

I break iPhone in the afternoon

And then I broke the 4
I broke iPhone before I broke iPad
And then I broke some more....
Daddy he once told me iPhone's not the way
And Momma she exclaimed, I broke my phone today.
Then one day met a Sage came to me and said.
iPhone good and iPhone fine, BUT BLACKBERRY's THE WAY AHEAD!
And I actually got quite a few laughs walking out of that store!
