Hello,
I wanted to add to the buzz here in this small thread. I hope to see this particular thread and the talk about the NamasteVapes Guru vaporizer grow. Some of you may also be somewhat familiar with the mention of the name NamastaVapes previously from other forums here on FC. Don't knock em till you try em! Or, at least get all sides of the stories. Objectivity is important.
I think it would be a great opportunity for any of you to make your own decision about NamasteVapes by trying them out for yourself. I will tell you this, if something is not correct Kory will do everything to make it right by you.
My very first order with NamasteVapes was not correct.
Not the end of the world. In the end it took 2 days longer, I ended up with what I wanted and some free goods thus becoming a customer for life.
They have become so large so fast, I kind of expected some growing pains to pop up now and again. So, all in all no big deal.
I am very excited to see the Guru come to light.
I was able to talk with one of the owners on the phone and by e-mail at length and was able to have all of my questions answered in detail. This is super great because it is not often one gets a chance to chat with a owner and with a company known mostly as a distributor cracking off and making a vaporizer of their own as well. Stoked!
I commend NamasteVapes for looking at other ways of becoming more self sufficient and for aspiring to bring to market a quality high end portable vaporizer.
One thing I was able to learn right off is that the Guru will be built/assembled in the USA with almost completely USA built/manufactured parts/pieces as well. This is great because the United States can use all of the in house help it can get.
Only a few parts like circuit board components/chip-sets will be outsourced.
Another thing that caught my attention about the Guru were the things that Kory and NamasteVapes wanted the Guru to take care of on a daily basis, day in and day out with attention to quality and performance. I will go over those details in the coming paragraphs.
I am very conscious of my lifestyle and I like to make the most out of it while keeping it as clean and healthy as I possibly can. That being said, the Guru will have an all glass/ceramic AP. All great in my book for health, taste and the like.
They want the Guru to have accurate temperature controls, excellent flavor while maintaining purity and battery life.
On temperature control the ceramic heater has a temperature sensor ceramic welded to the heater itself which provides direct feedback to the controller. The controller uses pulse-width modulated power signals to heat the chamber with high frequency pulsing to reach target temperature and then pulses power to the chamber to maintain it. This ensures super accurate temperature controls and efficient battery use.
The Guru will not have removable batteries but will feature 3000MAh batteries that will allow 4 hours of use. Not to bad for a single charge.
The whole unit will be covered by a warranty, batteries and all. So no worries on certain things not being covered if things happen to go bad.
I'm not sure yet on how long the warranty will be but I will let everyone know as soon as I find out more information. Heat up time is to be extremely fast too, we will have to wait and see however as I have not been told the numbers yet.
Another great thing about the Guru to me is that it will be able to do everything, concentrates, herbs, wax, oil and even e-liquids. Just like the Haze which is another super great portable by the way!
However the way the Guru vaporizes the e-liquids is truly stand alone on the Guru's already herbal friendly platform.
When someone adds the e-cig adapter with an atomizer the temperature sensor is short circuited internally. So now the base unit recognizes the presence of the atomizer and the display changes to adjust the atomizer voltage instead of the temperature on the ceramic bowl. The Guru is planned to work with many atomizer styles. It will have variable voltage options up to 8 volts. This will allow it to work with the liquid/wax tanks too!
I like to think of the Guru first off as a high end portable vaporizer that if need be can utilize almost any e-cig attachment.
I know some of us may never use the e-cig adapter but if anything the Guru sure looks to be unique and should do a super job as well. I look forward to giving this portable a try for sure.
Thanks for reading and cheers all!
