I'd love to try it but the problem is, is that if I really, really like it, the jar of Nutella and whatever marzipan I had would be gone in a day. I have such little control when it comes to shit like that.

When I received the bottle from an elderly Dominican woman as a gift, there was some meat swimming in the bottle. I removed it, and I enjoy the drink. It's extremely strong but delicious in a complex way. As I understand it, the meat was some animal's testicles. Beyond that I can't say, Lwien.

During my last trip to Dominican, I drank a lot of Mama Juana. None with meat in it though. I did become a raging bull after the drink, but that was probably due to the loss of inhibition that alcohol adds in.

I think the mix they said they served was red wine, honey, rum soaked in with the herbs and wood in the bottle.

It's by far my favorite alcoholic beverage, it almost has a medicinal quality and the rum raisins are to die for. I understand that some aficionados of the drink bury the bottle and let the herbs and bark soak into the rum underground for a few months.

How is fruit a guilty pleasure?

I feel proud when I eat fruit. Cheez-its each bite is so good and you know it is killing you. Fruit is making you live longer.
