it works, it's going to be a different experience then using new stuff, more body and less "high" feeling but it will work.

I have a few mason jars full of mixed abv
Idk how much, I need to weight it, but i want to collect more first.
Edibles never have effected me. Would this?
I have yet to try the soy lectithin (sp?) trick yet, but i intend to.

Well after stalking this thread for a while and wanting to make some for a while I have finally succeeded in doing so. It ended up working out great, my brother in law got me a bottle of 151 for Christmas and a friend ended up gifting me a 1/4 of some high quality buds so I figured I had no more reason to stall.
I followed the directions to the t. I was a little worried about the temp whie boiling, it kept fluctuating and getting under 170 for a while so I ended up coking it for about 3 mode mins that was instructed. We had a few friends over to eat dinner that night and we all had a dropper and a half about 30 mins before we ate. For my gf and one friend they felt it immediately but it took us guys about an hour to really feel it kicking in.
We ended up playing games and eating desert while passing around the solo to send us over the top. Everyone ended up sleeping over because they were all too messed up do drive home even 5 hours after taking it. My gf swore she could still feel it when she woke up.
Over all, this was a great success. I think I will reserve this for the weekend and hopefully try to save it for the next vacation. It's a little too potent for an every day kind of buzz for me.

Well. After 2 tries, i can say my trim gd has something but not too potent. Got nicely, but not overwhelmly medicated. Tasted like shit though. Scrubbing my mouth with dark chocolate eliminated that. Mango juice would not wash it away.
My abv one is should be potent. I started with about 50-60g and reduced it all to 1oz extract. I wasted the vegetal matters, i just have a concentrated liquid.
IMPORTANT NOTE: That alcool extract mixed with vegetal matters is extremly dirtying. Once it dries, the vegetal matter will not be washed with soap and cloth, plus it has a sticky finish. Its alcool and a lot of elbow grease to get rid of it.

I couldn't agree more. The one time that I made it I used some excellent Blue Dream and Everclear and ended up with an extremely potent tincture. Yeah that seems about exactly right Deadshort. I have had three droppers and it is totally
I like to go with 100% indica strains and start off with 1-1.5 mL. Shit is potent and lasts like 6 hours, as a medical patient it is great when my colitis is spasming. Helps to ease the bowels and get to bed.

My friend has a bunch of ABV and doesn't trust himself with it, going to either do this or the coconut oil/lecithin capsules, I do have everclear and access to a nice hot water bath, so I might just do this.
I don't mean to be contrary, but I recently made an ABV tincture very similar to Green Dragon. The only difference in the process was that I didn't have to decarb the ABV. Everything else in the process was identical to making GD. The end result was not as strong or as heady as the GD, but still very effective when using twice the GD dosage under the tongue and down the hatch. Also, when vaping the ABV Dragon, the effect was quite potent - more potent than when taking it sublingually. My batch was well worth it!!!

Yes! ABSOLUTELY!!! ABV tincture: Same method as the Green Dragon tinc but without the decarbing. 2 cc under the tongue with a spoonful of coconut oil relaxed me with a light heady effect. Nice! BUT, when vaped...BIG BANG for the buck!!! What I do is take a small swatch of 100% cotton and fold it in on itself in order to make it fit nicely into a Solo stem or Lotus bowl. Then drop-by-drop, on a plate, I saturate the little cotton swatch and let it evaporate under a small fan. Then, when dry, I repeat the saturation-evaporation process 1 or 2 more times. Don't compress the swatch with your fingers or you'll impede the draw. Set the Solo at level 7 (or whatever vape you're using) and get very nice fresh tasting herb flavor & cloudy hits...lots of them. Careful, it's very potent and long lasting! No popcorn taste, no cooked plant cellulose! The flower GD is much more potent than the ABV tinc when taken sublingually, but when vaped, they're both the SHIT!!! ENJOY!!!

Oh, interesting. For some reason, all I could think of was using the liquid like E Juice and running it in a vape mod. All I could think of is the alcohol bursting in flames at the first hit of the button when the coil gets red hot. I never thought about evaporating the rest of the alcohol off to vape the good stuff with the method you described. Good stuff!

Try this: Take 1.5 to 2 cc's of ABV tincture and drop it onto the center of a small plate-saucer. Place the saucer flat and level on a coffee pot heater until all of the alcohol is evaporated and all that's left is a dark film. Scrape the film off of the saucer with a razor blade. It is like putty. Remove from blade and flatten it out carefully between your fingers. Get 1/2 table spoon of good grade coconut oil and stir the putty-like ABV into the oil (mixes in best when heated and soft/melted). Place contents of spoon under the tongue for a minute or two and let the saliva build up. When ready, swallow. Should build to full effect over the next few to 20 minutes after that, depending on your body-system's readiness to absorb and assimilate. Works extremely well with flower GD also, but use less depending on GD potency - you don't want to overdo it on the first dose. It's best to work your way up incrementally to the desired effect. Report back with your results. Enjoy! BTW: You can vape this also, or put it on a nail...POWERFUL!!!

Yes! Exactly the same process, but without the decarbing.

The coconut oil does what exactly?
Two things: Improves the flavor and mouth feel; enhances bio-availability (without getting into a medical discussion, this particular oil/fat enhances absorption where it counts most).
