Grasshopper complaining thread

There seems to be a bitching session going on continually in GH thread. Folks have very valid reasons too. Maybe an extra place to comment and vent would be helpful. I have a used hopper that was gifted to me.

I've been using mine for a couple months and I'm happy with it so far... with all the talk about broken hoppers and having to send a unit back 5 or 6 times gives me a reason to worry. I did buy the $45 transfer of ownership because I want to make sure I'm covered. I assume something will eventually go wrong with it.

I don't have the patience to deal with sending something back 6,7 and even 8 times in some cases. If I had been dealing with something like that I would be pissed off too. I think I would lose interest and give up. You guys have more patience than me

I won't go into this but I had a nightmare experience with the Pinnacle Pro some 3 or 4 years ago. I stopped using the ones I bought. A similar situation but very different. At least hopper doesn't have melting plastic.

You all put me right off one i do not think at this rate they can keep up a lifetime warranty What will you do then with no pass through? I prefer the sounds of a semi functional pass-through Mightys with a degraded Battery versus a dead hopper a few years down the line.

I cannot risk combustion either if it happened id want the whole Hopper replaced!

Wow, they should have come up with this one for the Davinci IQ. LOL. I had 4 RMA's with them. Just got my 5th unit. Knock on wood, I've had it for 2 weeks now and all I've had to do is 1 reset even that scared me.

well its hard to see in thsoe pics , but alls i can say is WOW !! if that is some melted plstic that is tottal BS . i have only used mine twice since getting it back but i wont be using it any more thats for sure .

since posting in the canna break thread and stopping for that week back in april . i dont really even use anymore anyway , i cant seem to get by the anxity i get now since taking the break . i have prob vaped like less then a gram since last posting in that thread pretty much just in my solo . i always did think to my self if i could get my use down to just a couple small doses a week or on the weekend i would just smoke instead of vaping and this little tid bit just reenforces that for me wow that is crazy .

edit not keeping up just because i dont really even use anymore . that break tottaly fucked me up lol wish i never even got inspired to take the break after reading your guys post . it was working for me as a true med and keeping me from using more toxic pharms . now thanks to that week break i have to use 2.5 times as much pharmicuticals to keep the graves in check . you guys soo worried about your night sweats and brain damage are nuts lol

Dude, don't throw the baby out with the bathwater! These are isolated instances! It's not like there is a major combustion motif going on....defects can happen, and some GH's are hotter than others (they are different). Last I remember you were headed for the ER for stopping vaping, so now you have managed to stay off of it??

Melting plastic in vape is a huge problem. Pretty much defeats the purpose of using a vaporizer for "clean" vapor.

If the prescribed pharmaceuticals are helping, don't freak just because they are prescribed pharmaceuticals. If you are experiencing side effects, that's a different story. The stigma against prescribed meds that Cannabis users seem to usually have, is just like the stigma against Cannabis that anti-cannabis people have. Both have some basis in reality, but both are overblown.

Also, I wouldn't stop using Cannabis because of night sweats, but brain damage..? That's a whole other ball game. Nothing aside from something that keeps you from dying, is worth being mentally slow and forgetful, in your middle/old age, IMO. I have first hand experience seeing people with Alzheimer's Disease, and memory loss is terrible. I'm not saying that it definitely causes that, but the fact is, we don't know 100%, and it's definitely not crazy to consider it something worth looking into.

I wouldn't quit Cannabis to get rid of them, though, if that's the only negative it caused and stopping it would get rid of them. I don't like them, but I'd keep them if that meant I could vaporize whenever I wanted to.

Also, I know microdoses might help with Alzheimer's, but that was not me saying it causes Alzheimer's. It can possibly cause other kinds of memory loss or mental difficiencies, though. It might not be proven, but I definitely believe it's a possible risk that's worth looking into, and not "crazy".

well i would like to say that im not freaking out but that wouldnt be tottaly true , im very worried about the side effects that can be very serious and even life threating . with anti thyriod meds . they are toxic i was not calling them that for no reason tapozole is the one that im taking . and it can indeed be toxic .so its hard not to freak out a little especialy when i now have to take more then i did when i was vaping lots . the vaping must have been damping down the inflamation which is a big part of auto imune disease .

the tapozle can damage your liver very badly and i have to get my liver checked regularly because of it . it can also cause your white and red blood cells to suddenly drop to lifethreating levels . as well as a long laudry list of other shitty side effects , so as you can see ya you could call it toxic .

i dont have absolute prof that the weed was helping , but for some reason i was in what is called urothyriod which means your levels had returned to normal . i was like this for months thanks to the meds which even though i call toxic i do need to take because if you dont graves disease can be life threating if untreated so yes im glad for it but it is toxic .

all i know is after i stoped using weed for a week my thyriod levels went back out of uro and into higher then reference range . and stayed there for a month even taking double the med dose and the only thing i changed was stopping the weed . so with vaping i was only having to take half the amount of meds i am now having to take to keep me in the green .

but anyway i dont mean to derail the thread with a whine fest about me but just wanted to respond and explain my termanolgy of toxic unfortunately some forms of treatment are toxic but life saving at the same time like radiation and cancer needed but toxic unlike cannabis

Chris you dI whatever you need to keep your illness in. Do what you know is best for YOU. You know what works best and is right for you.

Anti inflammatories such as Ibuprofen will do a number on your kidneys as well.

Welcome to my life bro never had it until major stress and now it wont go away! I personally be drenched some nights at 4am i use a hoover because the air and heat will dry me in a minute or two and whatever i am wearing. I am up down up down with sweats nightmares you name it if a dare stop weed i get serious nightmares which made me sweat worse lol.

But what the hell can you do when you have 3 anxiety problems inc anxiety OCD and i think PTSD the problem is all you get is toxic medication which is going to fuck my liver up at only 35 i would have 35 years to go because i do not see any cure for this nor can i elevate myself out of the position in an illegal state that consumes most of my money to self medicate. You just have to live with it and find ways to cope.

They are definitely the result of withdrawals (top two most common are insomnia and night sweats) however in my case they are also from the weed, or at least my consumption patterns with it. Concentrates make it worse. At this point 2 months into my break, it's vastly subsided and related more to rem rebound/dreams. If I was to vape tonight i'm 100% certain I would have a sweat free night. A huge part of this break has been because i've been having them for so long now (years) that I really needed to abstain for a long period of time to really see WTF is up.

Wow, we have alot of similarities man! But i'm certain that the excessive vaping is the cause for me, and they can take months to go away. I'm pushing through because last year after a couple of months they vanished and I had the best sleeps ever.

I have PTSD as well from a young age, and from my job, as well as anxiety and OCD and adhd (apparently), as well as potential bipolar. It's all about who I believe, anyways it's probably psychological as well but happens subconsciously in my sleep, but i'm still trying to get to the bottom of it. I'm not on any pharma meds, for the same reason. I won't live with it if I don't have to, just wanna know if it's FORSURE the thc. Same issues when I drink coffee (don't anymore) or go through caffeine withdrawal.

It's all over google and the forums, many people that use weed daily are sweaty in general and have wicked night sweats. It's fucks up my sleep and thus quality of life, so it's "clean out period" time. 2 months down 2 to go!

Doctors say alot of things. Anyways, how long have you abstained from all forms of cannabis? If you have for several months or longer, and you still have the night sweats, then you can safely assume it's not the weed. If you haven't, then it very well might be. Only one way to find out.

I'm not even saying it could be the thc (although probably), but rather pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, etc that could be the root cause of it all. Combusters experience it the same with vaporists. And edibles can cause it too.
