Reminds me of these:
The piece is awesome
How much are those sweet Hydrotube recycler's without the colours? And is there a way to get a glass stopper or something on there instead of the plastic cap?
I choose not to discuss price out of respect to the artist. I will not speak for him, but I will say that I have thought about having a custom glass cap made instead of the plastic cap, but I also don't want to fuck up the piece at all.How much are those sweet Hydrotube recycler's without the colours? I don't know about cork. The drain is a threaded stub of glass and the cap is threaded as well. I need someone to be able recreate the threading while also being able to implement some type of buffer between the cap threading and the drain's threading to prevent galling which could lead to stress cracks or even a break.I think even natural cork would look cooler. But thats just me.
Yes, mine does have a red cap on it. It doesn't bother me at all - I don't have to worry about a glass cap breaking or anything like that, though I am careful when I put on or remove the cap. I could see how a glass cap/plug or cork might look better to some however I'm fine with itI believe @bassplayer's final version makes use of the red cap as well.

Gordo Scientific made me a Fab Egg. This piece kicks ass. I love the draw, so effortless.
