Good recipes with small amount of ABV?

i used the firecracker recipe as well and 3 little crackers with .5 teaspoon each had me feeling good. making 10 more firecrackers now.

I read through this thread and others yesterday and was tempted to (again) try something edible at home after having a positive experience with a dispensary purchased ed. I have a decent amount of ABV , I hit it time to time and it's generally of the lighter brown color. I don't use a grinder only my fingers. Nice huh.

Then I read through this thread and I find the olive oil infusion method mentioned and tried it. I was really more interested in seeing if it would have an effect as opposed to really working on the taste and recipe. I took what I think was maybe 3 grams. Difficult to say as I do not have a gram scale. I read , for sugar, 1 teaspoon is equal to 4.2 grams ? Seems crazy I have no idea but I threw in 4 or 5 teaspoons, guesstimate 3-4 grams. Let in sit in mason jar with olive oil just covering it level. This morning I strained most of it and drained it into some safflower oil based mayonaise and a teaspoon of dijon :lol: as I knew licking the spoon it might be somewhat detestable. I poured this admixture atop a certified organ russet bake potato (get it - baked potato ? :/ ) The results were very encouraging. It hit me right away and it was a very noticeable body high with a nice trippy effect to it. It was the first thing I had today (haven't had much since). It's now 6 hours and while the peak is gone for a few hours now I can still feel it.

I do want to try frying it but I do not want the smell. It lingers for hours. If it increased the potency then it might be worth a try.

Just sprinkle some herb on some food depending on the type of high you want. If you want to get more of a high, depending on how vaped the herb is, sprinkle some herb on a high protein meal like a hamburger sandwich or some hummus for vegetarians. Eat some leafy vegetable on the side such as coleslaw to make sure that the enzymes breakdown as much of the herb and cannabinoids as possible for the best absorption because leafy vegetables are high in minerals which get the enzymes in the body going.

If you want more of a stone to go to bed or just relax eat a high carbohydrate low protein meal such as spaghetti with a little cheese sprinkled with some herb and some spinach on the side or a nice romaine lettuce salad. Again the potency depends on how much the abv has been vaped. If you use fresh herb don't heat it up and if you do, do it for no more than five minutes because you don't want to degrade the thc into cbn.

Another thing is make sure you cook your vegetables in some good vegetable fats like extra virgin olive oil(Spanish is the best), pure canola oil and eat some high fat foods such as slices of avocado or make a sauce with nuts or seeds with it and mix that with the pasta or vegetables. There are so many recipes. These fats make sure that the organs will make use of the fat and the cannabinoids are part of this fat so they will be used up instead of going to fat cells.

Also make sure you do some walking to get the body going and to process the food. If you can't do that do something to get the brain going to bring more blood flow there such as doing music or playing games.

The reason why different meals give different affects is because when you eat a high protein meal with little carbohydrates more of the amino acid tyrosine goes to the brain and this turns to dopamine which is a neurotransmitter that gives you energy and keep you focused and up. When you eat a high carbohydrate low protein meal more of the amino acid tryptophan goes to the brain due to the carbohydrates releasing insulin and more of the tyrosine goes to the body leaving more tryptophan going to the brain(this is why most people get a big body high from most edibles) and this turns into serotonin and melatonin which gives a relaxing and sleepy affect.

SA, I don't understand the question.

If you mean just eat herb and no food, that's not what I meant. I meant if you use fresh herb along with or in place of abv.

Sorry, the food combinations you mention make total sense. What I was asking is , you say no to heat up the fresh herb (if used instead of ABV), so are you saying that it never gets heated at all just ground up bud and that the food activates it ?

Yes.

I forgot to mention that the herb may be too dry for some so just soaking the herb in some freshly squeezed lemon juice will help moisten it up a bit as well as help add to the high a little. Just use enough juice that gets soaked up by the herb and not drown it.

If you don't like the taste of the herb(some herb have an off taste with certain food) go to a health food store and get some capsules and put the ground up herb in the capsules and take it right after eating the meal combinations.

Yeah that is a great recipe that works well. I prefer to put the PB and some veggie oil in a bowl and mix it with the weed THEN wipe it onto the firecrackers though. It maximizes the surface area of the weed touching the fat in the PB, like this -- 420tainment's Best Weed Firecrackers Recipe

But anyway, in regards to ABV, I can get a great buzz off of .2-.4 of it, if I make the firecracker right. (I really recommend mixing the PB with the weed first)
