I wasn't going to make a big public display of my leaving... but I've been urged to say something and I would never want anyone to feel I didn't care enough to say goodbye. :)

This is my last day here on FC; as a moderator and a member. I've made so many friends and met so many fabulous people here. You've become my family and I've enjoyed getting to know all of you.

Sometimes in life, you find it's time for a change. It's not that I don't love FC.... this has been a very hard decision for me. It's been 'home' to me for the last seven years. But, for a variety of reasons, I felt my time here is done. So it's off to another venture.

I'll miss logging in here every day. It's a very odd feeling closing the tab to this forum. I hope that I'll see some of you out there on the netz.... And I can be reached on IG. It's been great folks. And now, I'm packing my bags and I'm out.

Sad to see you go Mom! Many moons ago I was the moderator of a growing car-stereo forum for several years. I know how hard it can be to be the "bad guy" sometimes as a moderate, I couldn't handle the stress for half as long as you (and that site wasn't half as big as FC).

If there's anything I can do for you, by all means feel free to email me.

Out to lunch
I didn't know that mom had made a farewell post, but it has been a busy day. I'm a little sad to say that I'll be leaving as well, on to the same "another venture" as mom. I don't want to spam the forum but we won't be that hard to find. I'll hang around for a short time, since my account permissions are necessary for a few of the chores, and I can't transfer them.

It's hard to leave the place after being around for 9 yrs. There were only a handful of members when I joined, and most of them never posted. It's always amazed me how many people join a forum and never post, although I do know that being a newbie can be daunting. I haven't been as active, posting wise, as I used to be, but I'm here most days, at some point, so coming here is like putting on my socks and underwear. But nothing lasts forever and if I'm gonna keep my fingers interested in typing vape related words, it's time to move on and try something different.

It's been fun people. See you around the infobahn.

The owner and founder of FC, @vtac, has been absent for a couple of years now. He used to respond to our email and show up to fix things, but for a few months he has not responded to any of us. The frustration of running the forum without full administration privileges has clearly become too much for @momofthegoons and @max, so they've decided on their own course of action. Neither @Stu nor I will be joining them. We will try to keep things running here, but we will need the cooperation of members. More than ever, the only way problems will come to our attention is through the reporting system.

We ask that you please refrain from discussing their venture on FC, and I would hope that those of you who will be joining them would also refrain from discussing FC at their site. Thank you for your cooperation.
